Sadly quite a while ago I used my own server to place images on this board. It is no longer in service and so starting at 2003 I will try to replace the link.

Thread: The Paintings of Nicolas Poussin - Please note that I had posted this 11 page journey on a couple of different sites. The first was Bravenet which  suddenly wanted more money, then there was another media something or other which went belly up and then finally I used a server streamed directly from my hard drive but I soon decided against that as perhaps being too risky and I could not control the upload/download of the music and images I had posted on my 300 plus websites. Enter Altervista my present server. I was all set to transfer the images there when I realized that the folders were limited in how many images they would accept and that the folders on my hard drive contained more images than could be stored in each folder on Altervista. This created the major problem of having to change the link in my webpages to match the various folders of my Poussin images on my hard drive and I decided at that time it wasn't worth it. I am now retired and I will once again attempt bring my "The Paintings of Poussin" online. It may take a while but you can follow the progress here. To further complicate things the thumbs are all in a different folder and ... well it is not that easy. I will try to get Page 1 up and running and see how I do.

Well looking to see if I had even started "The Paintings of Poussin" I found that there were many webpages I had made that I had not posted onto any website yet so I made a new webpage. Here it is so you can catch up. Some are old but never got included. "The New Websites of Don Barone: 2023 Version"
