Hoping to make a fortune , I took 32 vinyl albums I had saved to a Record Shop, was told they're doing invertory and will contact me after sorting through them.

Doing so, I felt nostalgic as I held them one by one and looked at all the cover art, undecided whether to part with them or not.

Among them Paul's Ram Album with the song "Heart of the Country", especially since I have been dreaming this past month how nice it would be to have a little home in the country surrounded by trees, a garden to plant flowers and vegetables, maybe chickens, geese, and whatever animals would come and stay.

Something like the bumper sticker I saw yesterday: The more I meet people the more I love my dog.

Among these albums transporting me from below to above, some touching me deeply emotionally.

Hi Charlotte unless you need the money or there is no room for them anymore my advice is to hang on to them. As we get older memories are very precious and selling them is almost sacrilegious.

Conserning money, Don, they pay 1 or a few $, it's more a lack of space. I get the sentiment of keeping them, times and events are stored in the library of my Mind and life has moved on. Reminds me of a Lady I work for occasionally, almost every time I come to her house "Phantom of the Opera" is playing.

Also among the albums, "Houses of the Holy" by Led Zep, and sitting with Elders of a gentle race



One of my favorites "The Rain Song", looks like the sea of people at Woodstock, but they weren't featured there.



Speaking of Woodstock, I gave those albums away but kept my botton. Wonder what it is worth, surely not as much as it influenced and helped to change the American mindset to a degree.

Also the round album by "Grand Funk Railroad", the only song I remember touching me deeply "Closer to Home"

Yes I think I understand.

I went out as you know and bought a nice reel to reel tape deck then hooked up my turntable that had been sitting in a box for over 7 years then spent several hundred dollars on tapes and old albums only to find ... you can't go home again. It just wasn't the same. Especially with most of the songs so readily available as mp3's. Yes that era has gone and as sad as it is the memories are still quite vivid but they can not be replayed or relived.

Friends of mine just came back from modern Germany

On my vacation, a Heartbeat past, I quietly walked into my Mother's room, stood by her bedside and whispered "Mutti". She turned her head and as her weary eyes met mine a smile, ever so slowly, came to her face, and in some such profound 10 seconds between Her and me, her face transformed.... After a minute or so she looked at me again and said my name, Lotte. She paused again, then said "did you come extra so far to see me? Her humility shamed me.

My Mother in a wheelchair, I sitting next to her, daily, we spent a little time looking out the window watching birds and ducks and she showed me the nests in the trees. She did this every day, she said, "to let the time go by". Sometimes, she said, "I dream", about what I asked, "that I could do everything for myself again". We reviewed events and remembered people we knew, and she remembered names I had forgotten. I did not say goodbye to her as we left for the airport, early in the morning.

Two days ago, my Mother "left us", as my Sister put it. Have mercy dear God, bless her, and remember her in thy Kingdom.

Where she lived, the passing of a person is announced by the smallest Church Bell.

Hopefully I corrected all my mistakes in the previous post. Consoling is that only our body eventually is exhausted of potential, as Mr. Hall put it, the light bulb burns out, the currency remains.

Called a 'Horror Thriller" on the radio, the film "As Above So Below" treats of a group of people in search of the Philosophers Stone, in this case the "Flamel Stone", hoping to discover the secrets leading to eternal life. A girl named Scarlett finds "the Rose Key" in Iran, which leads them to the Catacombs under Paris. I haven't seen the film and doubt I will, but in my Universe that would be associated with the Rosicrucians. I'm taking this information from wiki.

The horror begins when they crawl through the tunnels under Paris, which collapses behind them, and happen on a tomb "with a preserved Templar Knight". Scarlett takes the stone and the tomb also collapse. She realizes too late that it is a trap, but heals her companions injuries with the stone.

They espy a Gnostic Star of David, "symbolizing "As above so below", suggesting a hidden door, opening it they see the ominous inscription "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here" in Greek". In the tunnel they find a reflection of the previous room, which, I suppose, signifies "as above so below", and encounter another series of horrible events. After all is said and done, "Scarlett realizes the Flamel Stone itself is yet another trap, and that only by returning it will she find the real stone."

Back at the crypt she "finds a polished mirror, which gives her the magical abilities of the stone", with which she heals the wounds of her boyfriend. "They jump down a deep hole, landing at the bottom, and find a manhole. Pushing it down, they pull themselves out onto the streets of Paris and to safety."



It's a film, and similar to "National Treasure" 1 and 2, brings certain ideas of the Knowledge of the Ancients to the public, which is good, but as it is portrayed compels people, philosophically uninformed and unable to grasp what is behind the Hermetic Axiom, to ask "is this real?", suggesting it touches a lost cord for who wouldn't like to be immortal.

Not verbatim, but from memory, Hermes to his Son Tat, "That which is above is like that which is below, and that which is below is like that which is above, when you grasp this meaning, my Son, that which is hidden from the many will be most manifest to you".

Better known perhaps as told to Asclepius, that Egypt is "the copy of Heaven, or rather, the place where here below are mediated and projected all operations which govern and actuate the heavenly forces..."

Or, as Sir Francis Bacon said to King James I

"... your Majesty standeth invested in of that triplicity, which in great veneration was ascribed to the ancient Hermes; the power and fortune of a king, the knowledge and illumination of a priest, and the learning and universality of a philosopher."

As it is produced, the film does bring to our attention "The Journey Perilous" to "accomplish that one needful thing" to find the Stone rejected by the Builders.

Escaping from what is "trending" in what is called 'the real world', a recent headline: 'how long can (or could? )Humans live on Mars?' Should not the question be: how long can Humans live on Earth, which we are destroying with ourselves. Reminding me of the my Philosophy Teacher's words that we have the tendency to mostly look askance from what we should be looking at.

This morning, preparing my lunch, I was fascinated by the little glistening water drops of varying size on a tomato as if stars on a sphere, but that's not all, the entire tomato, as I look at it, is covered with tiny shimmering spheres which appear similar to all those faint stars the longer one looks at the firmament.

California, super modern and anciently eternal.

Located in Fremont there about the San Francisco Bay, near San Jose, is the super high tech Tesla Assembly Plant named after the great Nikola Tesla.



Hundreds of Miles eastward, about 1½ hours from Palm Springs is Niland or Nile Land, so called for its "fertility", which could not be the soil as it is desert. There is also a town called Mecca, and El Centro, where somebody planted palm trees in the form of 3 circles and 3 triangles. I stopped at the local Café to ask who planted the trees and why in these shapes, but no one knew.

Anyhow, there in the middle of nowhere, a Mr. Leonard Knight created "Salvation Mountain" out of whatever he could find and gallons of paint people brought to him.

I don't know if this adage comes from the tradition of bringing cows home for the winter, would be fitting. Growing up, I dreaded Winter and dreamed of a place where the Sun shines all the time, like California, now I complain and wish for rain.

The Big Bang versus Creation

Pope Francis agrees with Mr. Hall that there is no conflict as to Creation versus Evolution, evolution being the pilgrimage of Spirit/Light, the fiat of Creation, through matter, which Pope Francis explains thusly:

"When we read about Creation in Genesis, we run the risk of imagining God was a magician, with a magic wand able to do everything. But that is not so. He created human beings and let them develop according to the eternal laws that he gave to each one so they would reach their fulfillment. God is not a divine being or a magician, but the Creator who brought everything to life. Evolution in nature is not inconsistent with the notion of creation, because evolution requires the creation of beings to evolve."

This is nice because I never believed in the Big Bang Theory, rather that Light gradually became matter called particles, carriers of energy capable of adjusting as needed by forming patterns for the observer. The wave function, and so on.

Have been looking for an interesting youtube video on Halloween, but all I scanned are grotesque and macabre which images I disdain, and which, nowadays are increasingly presented to us in film and TV, Zombies, Vampires, the walking dead etc. Apparently many people watch these projections of what the mundane world is on about.

I do like the thought of friendly Goblins "who appeared in Wales more than in some other countries, and some time ago thought I saw a Leprechaun out of the corner of my eyes, perhaps reading that if one is caught one is rewarded with "a crock of gold". That would be a Treat. I also like "fairies anciently as being Druid, in hiding from their enemies, or if not, other persons who had such cause for living concealed in subterranean places, and venturing forth only by night. The regularity and generality of this system shows that there was a body of people existing in the kingdom distinct from its known inhabitants, and either confederated, or obligated to live and meet mysteriously, and their rites, particularly of dancing round a tree, probably an oak, as Herne's etc., as well as their character for truth and probity, refer them to a Druidic origin. If this was the case, it is easy to conceive, as the Druids were persecuted by the Romans and Christians, they used these means to preserve themselves and their families, . . .and did so successfully." Maybe the origin of the Hobbit lore.

The "true origin of fairies" can be "found in the primeval mythology", but another theory "presumes that the first fairies were men and women of mortal flesh and blood, and that the later superstitions are a mere echo of tales which first were told of real beings..."

Others write that fairies and goblins are nature spirits able to traverse dimensions, and this is why we catch only a fleeting glimpse of them when they are detected and sense danger. That would be called a Trick.

Thankful to the 9s I am to the Farmers who bring their goods to us. They are mostly Hispanics, and for those Politicians and followers who dupe unthinking folks as to how immigrants take American jobs, let them go and work in the fields at 100+ degrees.
