Read, listened, and watched this or the other in my downtime. Long before posting about Elon Musk wanting to colonize Mars to save humanity, and that immortality has gone secular and could make us immortal, I thought and learned about the latter, though not in connection with technology. I did however, read long time ago that every seeker on the mystery of life is entitled to immortality, still, not via technology, but perhaps by leaving technology behind. In a lecture, Mr. Hall once mused of how we would like living forever in this body on this planet.
Asking for permission. About a week ago, Steven Berger, who used to post here, wrote "The Adventure of Consciousness" on FB:
"The age of adventures is over. Even if we reach the seventh galaxy, we will go there helmeted and mechanized, and it will not change a thing for us; we will find ourselves exactly as we are now; helpless children in the face of death, living beings who are not too sure how they live, why they are alive, or where they are going. On the earth, as we know, the times of Cortez and Pizarrow are over, one and the same pervasive Mechanism stifles us: the trap is closing inexorably. But, as always, it turns out that our bleakest adversities are also our most promising opportunities, and that the dark passage is only a passage leading to the light. Hence, with our backs against the wall, we are facing the last territory left for us to explore, the ultimate adventure: ourselves", the image and likeness of God.
Saturday evening, I turned on the TV, and there he was, Absolem, a gray worm, old and tired, hanging upside down, lamenting that his life was over. Alice asked: "Are you dying?" "No", he said, "transforming", his head slowly absorbed by his body becoming a pupa, beginning the mysterious process to become a butterfly. An aura of 'don't touch' about the creature steeped in the magic of life.

Don't know why the name Absolem, my thinking being 'absolved' and 'peace' which would work, when forgiven, the severest judge being our own conscience according to St. Andrew of Crete, one can transform in peace. Not by technology or gene splicing is immortality achieved, Hermes would have us contemplate the Universe to come to know its Maker, as Don does diligently via Egyptian knowledge and wisdom, maybe he wants to achieve immortality like the rest of us I also watched "Ancient Aliens" on the "History Channel", its commentators theorizing about our origin, things unexplainable attributed to elusive Aliens and gods of yore, giving Moses and Pythagoras knowledge and power. Many theories are as fetched out of thick air, but there is one gentleman who gets it right because he agrees with me Egypt is the best known of all ancient Civilization, its Sages, Priests and Adepts concerned with "the one needful thing" of the Alchemists, transformation from the natural to the divine, this journey evident 'everywhere'. The Egyptians are said to be "steeped in a cosmic religion", as are other ancient and mysterious Civilizations, known to be versed in astrology, astronomy, geometry, mathematics, physics, and the Soul of the World. Why the emphasis on immortality? Striving to be admitted to the Court of Osiris, or become Osiris, is what the Priests of Egypt taught in word and deed, to become god-like, if you can believe it. Reminds of Jefferson Starship "Can you believe it, yeah, can you believe it ...."

Commentators of TV "Ancient Alians" show places and landscape from all over the planet which is nice to see, Moses and Luminaries such as Zoroaster and Dr. John Dee, suggesting they were given magical powers by Alians or the gods, speculating what they were using it for, or Don's 'how did they know?' Problem is that all we know about Alians and gods is vague.
I also spent some time at GHMB, reading among a few other posts "Sailing Toward Dawn - Hopi Emergence and Diffusion", by Mr. Gary David. The article also encompasses places on our planet, and much concerning the Naga "snake people". I read the Hopi 'Creation Myth' by Frank Waters several times, loved it and wrote on their 'Emergence' from one world to the next. I like the information because it gives an overview of part of our planetary history, Civilizations and Cultures, Men and Women who brought us to this day.

The Naga and Immortality.
Being a mortal, it is difficult to write a few simple paragraphs concerning the Naga or "Snake People", apparently inhabiting the earth since we can remember. They are said to have extraordinary powers, and depending on their temperament they are good or bad, let's say. They travel in 'Serpent Boats' or Ships adorned with 'Dragons', here below, and wormholes (telepathy) of science, above. Mr. Hall said that the highest ranking ones don't travel at all but tend to the necessary from wherever they are at the moment.
Written in a 43 page booklet, endorsed by the Maya spiritual leader Hunbatz Men who lectured at the PRS, and a Shaman:
"In an ancient time, we were transported beyond what we could see. We traveled through forests, deserts, oceans and high mountains. This happened long ago. The forests, rivers, deserts and mountains are not the same one we see today. With the passage of time the seas have erased all traces of what my ancestors left in faraway sacred lands. By Divine instruction we went to deposit the sacred knowledge of HUNAB K'U.
"The people of the high mountains received us with respect. We informed them of the purpose of out visit and they allowed us to live with them. Many years passed and our communication improved steadily. We performed rituals to the trees, to water and to all of nature. We realized that we held a common respect for the Sun, the Stars and the Cosmos. We discovered as well that we shared an understanding of all that surrounded us. We understood the great potential powers residing within the human body and decided to use our ability to develope these powers. We learned how to take the essence of the wind, water and fire. We thought to name these elements and consulted the laws of nature to name each of the things that existed.
"The sacred name which we gave to those lands was TIBET. We agreed that from these lands would emerge the initiates of the new age of spiritualism. We agreed on the meaning of this sacred place.
TI - Place BE -Road T - Tree, Nature
"Tibet is the place from which would emerge the initiates on the road that leads to the knowledge of the laws of nature. We chose the tree as the great symbol for TIBET. We lacked the name of he who would carry the knowledge to other lands and again consulted with the sacred forces. After great meditation came the name:
LAMA - (He) (She) of Profound Wisdom
"When we arrived to these tall mountains of TIBET, the inhabitants called us the NACA. Over time this became NAGA. To Tibetans this word means "serpent". The first Knowledge Keepers who learned the wisdom of the serpent were called NACA MAYAS".

Why this concern with immortality or life eternal by all spiritually inclined people throughout the ages?
Hoping Mr. David would not mind if I take a few cues from the article I mentioned, not to ctiticize or argue but adding my view.
Mr. David cites David Childress, who comments on TV's "Ancient Aliens", that there was an ancient race in Southeast Asia called the Nagas, "a seafaring race of people who traded in their 'Serpent Boats' similar to the Dragon ships of the Vikings". Possessors of secrets, it's hard to imagine a 'race' of Nagas rather than one chief selecting an inner circle as is the case in any organization.
"A thing is never only thatt and nothing else".
Stated on 'blackdrago.com: "Since the Naga race combined the title of demi-god with the serpent aspect, they have a duo-claim to riches and the possession of great wealth", meaning a race of people can't be demi-gods with a serpent aspect. Maybe the word race is meant to simply denote a population. From the same website:
"The Naga of Indian mythology particularly are beyond semi-divine serpents; they are the cobra raised up to the rank of a divine being." The cobra was not raised to a divine being, but the Naga availed themselves of its attributes, is my understanding.

Treasure guarding Nagas, Dragons and Serpents.
It takes me forever to gain some traction writing on the Naga, most people know their stories, more or less. Since everyone fears dragons and serpents, the job of guarding treasures was given to them that we might approach with caution and the greater mysteries with reverence. "A Naga may have a crown of serpents or serpents around its neck", also told by Mr. John Greaves in "The Enduring Mystery", that the Builder of the pyramids placed a treasurer in each, in the western pyramid a statue of marble, on his head a "wreathed serpent" who killed anyone coming near. I also read that a cobra at the entrance of a tomb spit fire to prevent entry to sacred places as does the dragon at the entrance of a cave Siegfried wants to enter. However the hero kills the dragon and looks upon gold and jewels. Siegfried means 'he who conquers in peace'. As worshippers of Buddha, the Naga guard guard sacred texts.
It is also said that "some Nagas possess a divine pearl of knowledge", and that
"Nagas have jewels either in the hoods, necks, or heads. The jewel is more than just a decoration. The jewel forms in throat of the Nagas, and it emits a light brighter than diamond. Should a Naga need to discover anything in the dark, it need only disgorge the jewel than swallow it again when it is ready. Though coveted, misfortune would befall anyone who killed a Naga to obtain the jewel. It is possible to obtain it by throwing dust upon it when it is out of the Naga's mouth."
Love this wonderful description of profound language out of the Naga's mouth shedding light brighter than diamonds on darkness of ignorance. Shakespeare, masterful in language, was a Naga, to say the very least.

Resuming contact with Naga lore.
In the last post is stated that "some" Naga possess divine pearls of knowledge, a jewel which forms in their throat and emits a light brighter than diamonds, misfortune will come to anyone who killed a Naga to obtain the jewel, but one can "obtain it by throwing dust upon on it when it is out of the Naga's mouth".
"Some" Naga might be misleading because it implies "a race" of Naga's, one cannot be a Naga unless one possesses this "Pearl of Great Prize". Imagine a whole race of people as Naga's, they would cancel each other out, so to speak.
Lama:
"NACA possesses great power. It is beautiful when it is assigned to a person because that means that he has a lucid consciousness of profound knowledge. This word is used constantly in Buddhism".
As to the jewel being optained by throwing dust on it when it is out of the Naga's mouth, my understanding being that this jewel which forms in the throat of the Naga emitting bright light is speech, it could not be "obtained" by throwing dust on it which would obscure the light, me thinking of the dust skeptics throw about when hearing such things.
"Other priceless gifts of the Naga include the Life-Restoring Jewel of Ulupi, the infallible lasso, and the Naga-power-granting elixir. In some cases, the gifts were temporary, for as soon as those gifts touched the ground (the earth, home of the Naga), they would disappear and return to the Naga-world, Nagaloka."
Firmly on the ground, Michael Shermer et al make them disappear, temporarely.
Another domain of the Naga are
"The great underground caverns and tunnels of Southeast Asia are attributed to the travels of the Naga, who would travel underground and occasionally surface for sunlight and air. They live in Bhogavati, the Underground Capital of the Naga, a glittering city full of music and flowers."
A bit unclear to me, as underground caverns and tunnels are said to be home of Elementals who come up for sunlight and air. The glittering capital full of music and flowers, Bhogavati, where live the Naga, remind me of Hyperboria, home of dragons and serpents. I don't know if they ever leave the blessed land, traveling underground could mean traveling incognito, though not for sunlight and air.

"A dragon lives forever"
The Song tells children who might wonder where the land called Honahlee is, sparking imagination. Don't know what the writer of the song had in mind, but since he frolicked there maybe it's the land of milk and honey where Dragons dwell. Stated previously is that the Naga "live in Bhogavati, the Underground Capital of the Naga, a glittering city full of music and flowers" I compared with Hyperboria, it, Bhogavati, Honahlee and the Land of Milk and Honey are happy places where Dragons live, noting that their habitations are inaccessable by land, air or sea, or throwing dust upon their language of light.
Mr. David conveys "the curious Hopi claim that its "Patki Clan (Water or Housboat Clan) was originally Caucasian". Interesting, considering the legend of Quetzalcoatl. "It is also curious that the War-like Fire Clan, who lived with the Snake Clan at Betatakin, an ancestral Hopi ruin in northern Arizona, were known by the sobriquet "redheads". Mr. David then notes the Moai of Easter Island with their red topknots who might have affinity with this fiery property, which I also gave thought but didn't and don't understand.
The dual nature of Dragons
From the previously quoted online site:
"Nagas have deadly venom, but they also carry the elixir of life and immortality. They have the gift of medical knowledge to heal poison. The Naga's bite is so poisonous it is described as 'setting fire' or 'fiery.'
"The destructive nature of poison resembles that of fire. This is why poisonous serpents have a high degree of tejas, (Sanskrit for 'heat' or 'fire') a magical energy ascribed to living creatures.
"Nagas only harm mortals when they are mistreated, so many superstitions exist to evade the wrath of a local Naga. This is because so deadly is the Naga's venom that a Naga's breath or stare could cause harm or kill."
The last three quotes hint of the wisdom of Hindu Sages or they would not ascribe "a magical enery to living creatures." The poison of earthly Dragons and serpents may kill, but the fire might be the one said to not burn, rather being "all fired up" as Don is with Giza and the Solar System.

Mr. David relates: "Not only do we find artifacts common to both desert and maritime people, but we also can identify related themes in myths from disperate cultures. For instance, the distinguished scholar Cyrus H. Gordon relates the incredible narrative (written in the first part of the second millennium BC) of an Egyptian sailor shipwrecked upon the "island of Ka." Some scholars believe it was once somewhere in the Red Sea or Indian Ocean in the region of Punt (Somaliland?), although it may have been located in Sundaland between the Indian Ocean and the South China Sea. Abounding in beautiful birds as well as delicious fruits, vegetables, and fish, this paradise was ruled by a giant serpent 45 feet ("thirty cubits") long with gold plated skin, lapis lazuli eyebrows, and a beard extending three feet ("two cubits") in lenght. The word Ka, incidentally, refers to the Egyptian concept of the etheric double, or doppelganger. Food offerings were made to a statuette of one's Ka, which is something like our notion of a guardian angel or alter ego." Considered a myth, I don't know why scholars would look for this paradise island ruled by a 45 foot serpents with gold plated skin, lapis lazuli eyebrows and a 3 foot long beard on terra firma, especially when shipwrecked upon the "Island of Ka", somewhere in the region of Punt. Perhaps scholars don't read the texts: "Turning my face to sunrise I created wonders for you, I made the lLands of Punt come here to you, with all the frequent flowers of their lands, to beg your peace and breathe the sir you give. "It is the sacred region of God's Land; it is my place of destraction; I have made it for myself in order to cleanse my spirit, along with my mother, Hathor, the Lady of Punt." The Ka is said to be the Spirit, this interpretation gives it as "Doppelgänger", which is a person looking like oneself here on earth, in Germany anyway

When an interior wind is blowing.
There are the legends of shipwrecked sailors cast on these mystical island by a mighty storm, in our heads, heart, and Soul, and if lucky we find a treasure or two on "the Island of Truth", as Lord Bacon called it. I dreamed once I went to Northstrom's to buy earrings, which I decoded as a storm in my head making my ears ring.
Speaking of Lord Bacon, the wind was blowing for many years during the planning of the Colonization of America, a brain-storming of why and how a New World had to be created for the advancement of humanity. Having attained sufficient data and what need you to dare such an enormous undertaking, the wind became a mighty tempest blowing the Englanders to Bermuda, the Florentine Renaissance at its back.
Astronomy has residence in myths and legends. Mr. David notes: "The astronomical and navigational skills possessed by serpent seafarers from all parts of the globe must have been the common currency of the day." Well, serpent seafarers trading with Dragon Empires can be applied to above and below.
Mr. David:
"It is possible that the Nagas were the Snake People whom Tiyo met in his epic journey from the Colorado River to somewhere in t he Pacific Ocean. The Hopi word 'nga'at' (my italic doesn't work) means "medecine root," referring to the healing or magical properties of a plant's water source. In this context it is significant to note that the vegetal root is both chthonic and morphologically snake-like. The related term 'nakwa' refers to "...feather(s) or some other object on a string worn as a headdress or to signify the wearer has a particular role for the duration of a religious function. The ritual aspect of this plumage suggests the feathered aspect of the serpent. ... The Hopi word "Naka" is a proper name referring to the late 19th century chief of the Katsina Clan, whose traditional duty was to direct the Bean Dance at the february 'Powamu', or purification ceremony."
This relates to Hatshepsut going to the Land of Punt, the land of God, in order to cleanse her spirit.

Mr. David mentiones Quetzalcoatl, the Plumed Serpent, several times. Wikipedia "Since the sixteenth century it has been widely held that the Aztec Emperor Moctezuma II initially believed the landing of Hernán Cortés in 1519 to be Quetzalcoatl's return. This has been questioned by ethno-historian Matthew Restall (and a great majority of others)who argue that the Quetzalcoatl Cortés connection is not found in any document that was created independently of post-Conquest Spanish influence, and that there is little proof of a pre-Hispanic believe in Quetzalcoatl's return." The Aztec's being much to wise to believe such a thing, how can there even be disagreement of such a notion since Legend has it that Quetzalcoatl came from across the eastern sea in a raft of serpents which moved by itself with out paddles, that with much sadness he left the 'Serpent Sanctuary', "burned his houses, built of silver and shells, buried his treasure, and set sail on the Eastern Sea preseded by his attendants who had been changed into bright birds." One could think that many serpents 'floated his boat' following bright birds, perhaps bright thoughts of a new age by the Aztec. Here on earth we are taught that dragons and snakes eventually got tired of being religated to the ground, aspired to more freedom and evolved to become our extraordiany beautiful kingdom of birds. "All life strives for perfection" fits here. Ancient Mysteries "There's a class of ancient stories about knowledge bringers. These were highly accomplished beings who cam from the sky and taught the people the skills they needed to survive and thrive. Not surprisingly, many of these knowledge bringers are known as gods, usually creator gods. One of my favorite knowledge bringers is Quetzlacoatl. Lots of people have loved him through the ages, and still love him. "According to Graham Hancock in Fingerprints of the Gods, Quetzalcoatl was the main god of the ancient Mexicans. Hancock cites descriptions of Quetzalcoatl that sound much like Viracocha: "a fair and ruddy complexioned man with a long beard", also: ...a mysterious person ... a white man with strong formation of body, broad forehead, large eyes, and a flowing beard. He was dressed in a long, white robe reaching to his feet. He condemned sacrifices, except of fruits and flowers, and was known as the god of peace. When addressed on the subject of war he is reported to have stopped up his ears with the fingers." It's also what I do, and learned how to spell Quetzalcoatl. farm3.static.flickr.com/2445/3642135207_bff9a0c2bf_b.jpgWith the article is this image: "The plumed serpent Quetzalcoatl, at Teotihuacán, Mexico. To me these plumes look like the flames from a rocket." To me, the plumes look like a sunflower.

Garuda, "the legendary semidivine birdlike-deity" is the eternal enemy of the Naga, however the Naga are also described as semi-divine, so somebody imagined them as "cousin races", nevertheless "avowed enemies". Implied are Naga's of the earth and of the skies, the good and the bad. "In Buddhist tradition, the two tribes were tending towards a horrific war until Buddha himself intervened", the same as a white and red dragon fighting under the castle until Merlin stopped them, or the white and red angel on our shoulder. The eternal battle of good and bad we fight as individuals projecting it to become our outer invironment. I read also GHMB that NA-GA refers to 'the white stone' which "does have a link with both serpent and bird, and can be found in the company of Garuda, who is GAR-UD meaning 'in place of the sun' or blocking the sun'." The Aztec image in the last post seems to reflect this contribution by a lady named Madeleine. Wikipedia "In Indonesia the national emblem is the Garuda resembling the Phoenix. Geruda as bearer of knowledge carries a jug of Amrita water of eternity symbolizing eternal knowledge." The feminine counterpart to the Naga is the Nagini, who "were known for their beauty. Stories describe their fair hips and their faces as resembling the full moon. Nagini are clever and always well dressed, and when they appear as nymphs or women, mortal men often fall in love with them." Nice romantic rendering of the sun and moon, being clever and always well dressed, I could be a Nagini Much information is given on the subject of Nagas and Garudas. As with other legends and myths, their innovators, like Prometheus brought fire down from heaven to help us find the domain of "the enchanted underworld, the underground realm filled with gems, gold and other earthly treasures called Naga-loka or Patala-loka", with which we might buy the

In yesterday's homily, Father Norman spoke of Sound, viz., when your eyes are sound you're body is full of light. Fr. Norman then translated several Greek words, 'sound', 'clear', 'without confusion'. Definition, don't have all the alt symbols. Sound, Greek sóphrón: of sound mind, self-controlled, sóphrón from soos, "sound, safe", phren "inner outlook" which regulates outward behavior, safe (sound) because moderated, referring to what is prudent because correctly (divinely) balanced. In the beginning was the Word and the word was with God, and the Word was God, the immortal Word of God, Christ Jesus. Definition of clear, evident. Clear, Greek délos, clear, manifest, evident, because of "inner perception", Father Norman added 'simple', grasping what is unmistakable self-evident. We arrive again at: 'our inner state becomes our outer invironment', referring not only to the Egyptian hieroglyph 'edu', educare, education, "sel-fashioning", the germanic "Ausbildung", picturing outward inner perception, Father Norman: what is perceived by the mind, and also quantum physics. Father Norman went on to say that the reason the Apostles didn't recognize Jesus at times was because they did not understand the Scriptures yet correctly. This brings me to the Pyramid Champ telling me about the secret people at the Giza Plateu who can only be seen when "they make you like them". Colloquially we know it as 'it takes one to know one'. Then I was surprised and happy that my Plumeria plant suddenly came alive after ca 10 years of struggling, leafs falling, one or two blooms in a season, so sad looking that I thought of pulling it from the soil but couldn't because yet alive. So I thought, desiring to grow to finally make progress takes a long time and devotion, my Philosophy Teacher conveying the answer to someone complaining that he has been doing so for 10 years and nothing is happening .... nothing is happening? keep doing it. 3.bp.blogspot.com/-W5KUoNw_yxQ/UilEqPDOq8I/AAAAAAAAD7E/ILZII1wj_1M/s1600/plumeria+flower.jpg

Sunday last, the Homily was of the Samaria Women by the Well. "Jesus said to her: Give Me a drink." His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food." Jesus said that if she knew the gifts of God, she would have asked Him to give her "living water".
The women said: "Sir you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where do you get that living water?"
Jesus said to the women that "whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water soringing up into everlasting life."
Then His "disciples urged Him, saying Rabbi, eat." But He said to them, "I have food to eat of which you do not know."
The drink and food is sometimes called "mana", which sustained the Children of Israel during their wandering and the desert in hope of finding the 'Land of Milk and Honey'; or the story of the Father who was told that his prodical son is coming home, told his sevents to fatten the calf for a great feast. The Father ran with open arms to welcome his wayward son back, there was a great feast and great joy that the lost in the world has come home again. It is not difficult to understand this teaching, if you can believe it.
