the missing part of Christ from the pic is it the part you call "armpit" in english ? synchro has it that I was checking a thread on the GHF I missed at it was at the time my dog was sick and I answered a post of R and M on Betelgueuse adding the french take on it.... it turns out that if you check the net you will see that the common version is that Betelgueuse represents the "armpit" of Orion from an arabic mistranlation..... Christ being not a name but a function and Jesus not the only dying-resurecting God in mythology since Osiris predated him...... Osiris being the Green One and the painter of this Crucifixion fabricated name being Gruenewald meaning the Green Forest.... wouldn't it be possible that this painting in fact alludes to the above mentionned ?
Charlotte and Don and other intuitives on this board........ what is your feeling on the above ?

Hi Aurora I would have to disagree on a variety of fronts. Firstly were any of The Egyptians Myths known at this time ? I should think not. Green Forest could refer to The Earth itself. Yes it could be, and this now fits with a myriad of other conspiracy theories, that it could be that Jesus does indeed represent mankind and he/it will have to be sacrificed to save The Earth. A chilling thought but seems to fit the available data. Armageddon and all that ... and Clive now finding The Solar System in these paintings. Warning of the impending Armgaddon in the placements of the planets at a certain time I should think ... and Clive also intends to post an image that ties in the Earth/Mars correlation on the newest switched altarpiece ...
The needs of the many (animals, insects etc) outweighing the needs of the few ... MANKIND !

Dear Don,Aurora,
Illuminating indeed.
How much of an influence the Florentine Academy of Marsilio Ficino had on painters such as these? These are clearly methods based on Classical Greek thought, hence rebirth.
Pico della Mirandola was one of his students, aswell as a host of other renaissance luminaries. Johannes Kepler was also influenced by Ficino and this ultimately led to his Laws of Planetary motion.
The Madonna and Child by Fra Angelico mimcs the stellar connotations, with The Madonna, with her 12 stars being representative of the Ecliptic, The Queen of Heaven, The Child Indidcative of the Earth, The King of the World and Sceptre he holds, being representative of the moon. The saints halo's could be planetary bodies. I can't get the image up right now.
Fra Angelico was patronised by Cosimo Medici, who patronised Plethon, one of Ficino's inspirations.

Hi Aurora,
I don't know anything about the "armpit of Orion", and don't have much time to follow discussions at GHF, so I don't even know the gist of what you are referring to.
I can relate, however, to "Christ" being a function as in Christ or cross-over spirit of God, so to speak, and the dying-resurrecting gods of mythology such as Osiris and Jesus on the cross of matter. I don't know if there are 'vines' and grapes on Osiris' cross, but there are on Jesus', and Dionysus, though not on a cross, is surrounded by vines on which grow grapes, which always signifies "transformation" from the natural man dying and the perfected man - resurrecting, and the promise of life everlasting.
All these gods, including Prometheus, bring light to humanity by sacrificing themselves but for the love of us, or killed by the enemy of light, our unremitting doubt for one.
INRI = Igne Natura Renovator Integra
It is the Rosicrucian motto, or as Mr. Hall puts it: our own intergrity leads us to our soul.
Charlotte
PS I just read Latona's post and yes can relate to the summation. My dramatic with a smile philosophy teacher took it one step further by saying "who do you think this Renaissance bunch were, "Pico della Mirandola could catch a molecule in mid-air".

Hi Charlotte,
Definitely INRI is Ignis Natura Renovatur Integra and thanks for the reminder it is a RC motto... Not sure which post of Latona you are referring to as yours is the first one I have read today. I understand you perfectly not having the time to go on the GHF as I am in the same situation with this blog, lol. Anyway I always enjoy whatever you have to say to me in your posts as it reflects most of my past research and is a good reminder for me of what I have known but may have forgotten.
I take the opportunity to answer your post to me about my paintings and thank you for the nice comments and I noticed that you are familiar with Bauernmalerei. It is because of my experience with painted furniture in my childhood when I was visiting cousins in germany that decades later and 12.000 kms from my native France I discovered in Vancouver Canada to my amazement that european expatriates had kept alive the european folk art tradition and thanks to that I was able to learn how to do myself some of the wonders and bring back my childhood to me 12.000 kms away from home. Gradually I self taught myself in other traditional styles from Europe like Rosemaling of Norway and Hindeloopen from Holland. Those 3 styles are truly my 3 favorites......but as far as "lightness" is concerned "Hindeloopen Dutch" beat them all and is reminiscent of the fine scrolls, birds and delicate colors of the italian style seen in Castles like Versailles.

OOPS - I just saw Latona post I had missed and I am glad I scroll back up as I like his positiveness which becomes a rarity nowadays....... synchro has it that my post to you Charlotte at the end mention a reminiscence of the Hindeloopen Dutch painting style with the one of Italy seen in Versailles castle...... this is precisely the florentine one Latona mentions in his post. :-) It is nice to see there still some people who are able to recognize the value of the ancients. Thanks to you both Charlotte and Latona to lift my Spirit.

I'm glad you're feeling better, Aurora I had a wardrobe with Bauernmalerei, my father had more stored in the attic and I asked him why he doesn't just throw "this old junk" out. Someday you will appreciate it and it will be worth a lot of money, he said. You mention Versailles several times, this morning I was looking for Don's "old" postings and pictures of the Statue of Liberty for my next post on 'Book of Secrets', but found those of Versailles, St. Peter's Basilica, Delphi, Washington DC etc. Surely, we stand on the shoulders of the very Ancients and those after them to now see more of the "Treasure". And the promised image from Clive ... and his explanation ... ... Don: As I said...it is set to be displayed either way, and the Mars/Earth orbit ratio is demonstrated with the following setting.
1) The head of the man on the right side panel represents Mars…lady’s hands represent Earth. Rotate Mars (head of man) CCW to the point of lady’s hands. In this time frame Earth (lady’s hands) will rotate 360 degrees to complete one orbit back to its original location. IOW both planets align where the hands are located.
2) The head of the man on the left side panel represents Mars again…but now the head of the man holding the book represents Earth. Do the same as previous only this time in the CW direction. Both planets would align with the man who holds the book.
To confirm the artist’s intent, the angle between the men on both outer panels are set on the same angle (within 1 degrees of accuracy).
Best. Clive Cheers Don Barone

Greetings Don,
That's magic Don, I was thinking other than there not being 12 points, rather thirteen, that the 13th could be a reference to the controversial 13th sign, OPHIUCUS, The Serpent Bearer.

Hi Don, I see you're here and see the obelisk, but don't know about the spray of lines from the centre of the tomb? Do you have a "goal" in mind or just follow a development? And what of Celestine V? Love Charlotte Hi Charlotte No I do not have a goal in mind at the moment and am just going the way the wind blows. I am still trying to find the grid used by "the pyramid builders" I have suggested it may be 44 by 45 and find it a bit unusal that it seems to fit the painting size of many of Poussin's and other Rennaissance painting cavases. But what it all means inside is ... well ... still eluding me for the moment. I still can't help but feel that Clive is correct and Giza is an astronomy book but I sense that it may be givng us a date ... perhaps even "The Date" that we are heading toward ... If that makes any sense at all. And what is the key that Celestine holds ? Well I still am not sure of that either but geometrically, on the painting, I am sure it is significant. As to The Grail Quest .... It has been hinted that more and more will be revealed in the coming years to those able to see it as we drift toward 2012. Is it going to be an Apocalypse of some kind ? This would seem to be a given. For those who have reached the proper level more will be revealed on a more personal basis. The question is which story to chase and which trails are false and which trails are true. Regardless I think that "The Armageddon Conspiracy" may be more that just a story. Just as it appeared to be a melding of minds on Rennes le Chateau and also about the secret codes in the paintings ( I was an early bird on that one if not the earliest !) it would seem now that the focus of the collective mind is zeroing onto The Cathars and who and what they were and what they believed. Mark (Karl Hammer) told me a very long time ago that the battle was very real and was between "Good" and "Evil" and that more would be revealed in the coming years. However who is really "The Good" and who is "The Bad" was never revealed. It was just hinted that certain things were being protected against "The Bad" and was being moved accordingly. Things are going to begin to unfold and it is up to us to try to find which slot it all fits into. However as always there are going to be many false trails and that is what makes it so annoying. Anyway apparently I am on the "short list" but I am not sure I will be able to eventually find The Grail. Since it is apparently much more spiritual that material I should think that you may be closer to it than me. As a final word it was hinted to me that I should not concentrate so much on the what or the how but more specifically on "The Why ! " Why does the geometry seem to fit between Giza and The Renaissance paintings and Why was it incorporated into the paintings and at Giza ? Yes "The Why" would seem to be the big question ... Cheers Don Barone

Hi Don,
Following the wind reminds me of the wind bloweth where it listeth, and we can hear the sound thereof but cannot tell whence it comes or whither it goes, and I don't feel "it is up to us to try and find the slot it fits in", but will bottle itself. Fern told me that there is an orderly/measured revealing and unfolding of human destiny as decreed by Divinity never breaking its own laws, remember we talked about it.
As to the question "which story to chase and which trails are false or true", my father told me once that men say many things in a day, especially in the summer when the day is long, and left me to think on this.
Maybe the geometry "fits between Giza and the Renaissance paintings" to keep the Real alive.
Love
Charlotte

Hi Charlotte, you write : Maybe the Geometry "fits between Giza and the renaissance paintings" to keep the Real alive. If by "Real" you mean "Harmony" then this is definitely a resounding YES. This book will help while bringing back to memory the great work of Rene Schwaller de Lubitz www.grahamhancock.com/forum/BangsH1.phpHave you ever heard of Wismutmalerei ? this is one of my folk art paintings styles officiallly going back to the 17th cenutury as far as the classification Bauernmalerei is concerned by nomadic monks teaching the peasants in the villages hence the name "peasant painting" but in the case of silver painting similarities has been found with silver smithing at the time of Nefertiti....... food for thought......one has to wonder where the monks got their knowledge ;-) Right now I am into paintings "birds" and begin to wonder about a "religious pattern" behind the latin name of some of those like Pavo Christatus or Cristatus for the Peacock and our regional bird the Puffin called Fratercula Artica which is Little Monk coincidentally ;-) and how about the Magpie from the corvidae (core vida = coeur vie = life heart) family (crow)...... aren't these wonderful creatures trying to tell us something through their latin names ? there isn't only paintings in which they appear - think tapestry serie of the Lady and the Unicorn........ can't remember now who said the "secret of life is in art" ;-)

Hi Aurora,
I am geometrically and mathematically challenged, but then there are those great minds that show that things are governed by geometry and number.
Wismutmalerei = wisemood painting, and the monks who taught it were in a wise mood, and they learned it from their instructors and much study, I would think.
There are beautiful tapestries in the castles of Bavaria.
I'm glad you enjoy painting, yea, I love birds too.
Oscar Wilde: "The secret of life is in art", and I also like "One should either be a work of art, or wear a work of art."

Oh Folks - not my lucky day - I can't get any pic on this page showing and just get a red cross in a square....... talking about bearing my Cross.... Is there any Magician or Knight in Shining Armor or Queen Lady on this board who could use a Magic Wand to restore those precious pictures without which my life would be so dull ?
To Charlotte who wrote "I am geometrically and mathematically challenged" I say "get out of mind" and "into the Heart" and there is nothing you can't achieve.........
Impossible is not french say the french - I would add we are the only ones who set our own limits...... me too I was geometrically and mathematically challenged according to the linear view of this world but it doesn't mean there is no other way to overcome the problem.... just learn how to tap inside your Inner Riches :-) and please forget about your challenges they are in your mind only not in reality. Give you more credit - the credit You deserve :-)

Thanks for the advice and credit you give me, Aurora. I should have written: though I am geometrically and mathematically challenged, I can appreciate geomerty with all my mind and soul, so much so that I gaze for long minutes upon it and let it take me in, and am delighted. No pictures show for me either, not even when right clicking, but this happens sometimes and later in the day or the next day all is "normal" on the board. My computer keeps shutting off as well, maybe some weird alien energy is influincing the planet, just kidding , maybe increased solar activety, or the thought proposal of pouring 700 B$ + into Wall Street sucked all the energy right out of the country. The value of a country's currency reflects the consciousness of said country, and we in America are bedummtd and benumed, in shock even, but thanks to Hurricans above and below change is 'forced'. I know what you mean by life being dull without art. Regards Charlotte
