Hi all ... 
According to Petrie:
Height to top of layer 35 from pavement 1187.4 inches. The height of the layer itself is 49.8 inches.

Probably nothing but did you happen to notice the co-incidence that 1187.4 is just .6 inches off of the required base in the great Pyramid (in cubits) and is the actual distance in the field as measured on the Giza Plateau to give us our angle of 51.84 which is either Phi, or 7/11 or whatever.
A simple diagram as the fever takes its course ...
There is more, much more here but I am having trouble concentrating.
And since you yourself said that no one had offered up an explanation I guess the burden now falls on the other side to show me in error .
