Hi all ...
As most of you know I have been obsessing with measurements at Giza and on The Giza Plateau. I remain convinced that there is an overall plan that this plateau and it's three pyramids, enclosure walls, satellite pyramids and Sphinx follow. On my journey always in the back of my head has been my earlier work on The Poussin Code where I discovered a Wood Pentagram on The Giza Plateau and the work I did tying it into at least three of Poussin's paintings, his two Shepherds of Arcadia paintings and his self portrait 1650.
Following in this research I finally found a reasonably accurate image of The Giza plateau and after scaling known distances (1414.217 and 1414.217 and the 2000 Rc Chase Line) I decided to finally draw my pentagram at Giza. I did it free hand at first picking the spots from memory and it did not fit. In response to this I re-imposed the Wood Pentagram image over the plateau and could not figure out why it did not seem to want to fit. I then chose to simply for now draw a PERFECT WOOD PENTAGRAM at Giza and see what I got. It is very interesting.
Image 1:
A Wood Pentagram with ALL ANGLES EXACTLY 36 degrees (or as near as I can check them)
Please note some very interesting details hitherto unknown or at least unmentioned before.
1) The Wall of The Crow, which in the past I had been unsuccessful finding a reason for it's slope or angle becomes painfully obvious on this overhead view as we can see that it lines up perfectly with the far western wall surrounding Pyramid 3 and the point where it suddenly veers southward.
2) The most southern of my pentagram points falls directly on the extension of this sloping line and in line with the west side of Pyramid 1
3) The blue diagonal line splitting the far eastern and elongated angle projected southward appears to hit EXACTLY the SW corner of pyramid 3 and also the point of intersection of the center of the satellite pyramids and a further extension southward of The Chase Line
4) NEW: a line drawn from the center of The Sphinx's head northward through the center of Pyramid 1 is parallel to the line just north of it and also forms a perfect Wood Pentagram only with smaller length of sides for our triangles. This line can be seen faintly in the image.
As interesting as all of this was I decided to invite Poussin and his shepherds to the party and come they did.
Image 2:
Poussin's "Et in Arcadia Ego" and an overlay of The Giza Plateau and The Barone Pentagram at Giza
Now in this image there are a variety of interesting things to notice.
1) The N->S center line of Pyramid 3, shown in yellow, when extended hits the end of the staff of the western most shepherd. A line drawn south eastward along his staff hits the SW corner of Pyramid 2
2) A line drawn from this shepherds right eye, through the tip of the pointing finger hits the SE corner of the two tangents where they meet.
3) A line drawn from the eye of The Shepherdess through the eyes of the eastern most shepherd passes through the center line of Pyramid 2 and touches the NW corner of Pyramid 3. A second line also starting at the eye of the shepherdess and touching the tip of the pointing finger hits a point defined by a projection south of the eastern wall of Pyramid 3 and where it hits the line defined by the Wall of The Crow line and where it hits the left vertical tangent of the circle.
4) And last for now a line starting at the apex of Pyramid 1 and drawn in a south westerly direction and hitting the point where The Wall of The Crow Line hits the western vertical tangent is around 51.83 degrees - (The Phi Angle)
There are many other hits so have fun and see what you can discover.
If Poussin did not use The Giza Plateau as a template or at least the same geometry then these are odd co-incidences indeed.
Is Bugs Bunny The Easter Rabbit ... Hmmmm .... could be
There is more coming but I will take a break on this post for now.
Cheers in The Light
