Hi all.
Well just when I think there is nothing new for me to find, bang I find something.
Case in point how many times have I visited The Bent Pyramid thinking I had it solved. Well not to sound like a broken record but this time I think I have nailed it.
I was looking at one of John Legon old offerings on Academia and I started playing around and then I saw it. What did I see ? Well here it is.
First we are going to once again begin with the lowly and simple square.
This time we are going to draw in both diagonals as in Image 02
What we do next is going to lead to all sorts of other postings but for now I will keep it quite simple. I am simply going to draw not just one arc this time but all four arcs as in Image 03
The next thing we are going to do is join all the intersection points in a square as in Image 04
Next up is drawing a quarter size square. I did it on the bottom left but you can draw it in any of the four corners.
Next we draw a vertical line from the centre of this new square and draw a circle with half the base as a radius as in the next image.
With the intersection of the pink circle and the diagonal we draw the square that fits this point as in the next image.
What we have just done is successfully drawn the design plan for The Bent Pyramid. All that is left to do is label the sizes as in the final image below.
Now that was pretty simple , wasn't it .

And plotting The Red Pyramid ...
We just draw another smaller square of 1/2 the other one we drew in the corner and there we have it.
We can get The Great Pyramid as well but that will have to wait for now.

I was wrong .. one more.
I wasn't expecting to find The Giza Rectangle in this design.
Square root of 3 is 484.97 while square root of 2 is 395.98 and 1 is equal to 280.
Very nice and neat

Well as neat as this looked, I am afraid this may not be how it was done.
I will post my newest idea shortly.
