Interesting site, Don. I will try and stop by when I can. As RLC discussion is pretty much OT at Ma'at, I wanted ot get your reaction to the antics of Paul Smith (I missed msot of what happened at Ma'at). As you know, I am skeptical about some of the details of the RLC legend and I do think Paul enabled some of the true facts that had previously only been published in France to be known by a wider audience via his web-site.
I was pretty amazed at his antics, though. and his refusal to acknowledge even the smallest valid crticism of his findings. Do you think he is just a somewhat crazed individual (the RLC mythos has away of doing that to some people), or perhaps part of a concerted smear campaign against the whole, RLC mythos (which might include the BBC's "History of a Mystery")? Is there something about Poussin's paintings and the coded RLC messages that certain people would not like revealed? (rhetorical question, of course
).
