Hi all ... My next project which has been formulating in my brain for many years and I feel is soon set to "burst forth" from me is what is the meaning and significance of the various different thrones that the gods of Egypt are sitting on. Ken Bakeman has done some work on it but has left much still to be discovered. It is my contention that like The Pyramids the thrones are actually mathematical in layout and each is telling us on in all probability a mathematical formula of some description. Soon I will tackle these images and see what we, yes this time you guys are going to help me (!) find the answers. cheers Don Barone

Hi Don.
Would try to if could find out what each throne looked like. Any good links over and above the one you gave? I have not found a legend in which Osiris is cut-up into more than 14 pieces with a possible plus 1 for the bit that was discarded, and placed into a box according to his measure and then put into a tree trunk. We already went into the measure of 14 in relationship to the pyramid used on the US Bank Notes.
So any more info to hand - Paul.

Hi Paul ... I have over time accumulated quite a collection of thrones and will slowly start to post them here. Here are a few ... ........ Thoth .................. Tefnut ............ Sobek .................. Shu ................. Satet ....... Rehorak .................. Re ................. Nut .................. Menhit ............. Maat ............. I find it amazing that no two thrones are identical ... all are different and all have a [mathematical] meaning; I am sure of it . cheers Don Barone

Hi Don. This is just a set ideas that I ponder upon.
I find the maths given by Ken Bakeman of interest, as the Egyptians were expressing the squaring of the circle or placing the square into the circle by the addition of a 5th division (again as I mentioned earlier to Latona - we have a 4th and a 5th division that work together 5/8. 1.6 or Phi). This gives such a similar idea of squaring the circle by the addition of the 5th square of values of the hexagrams that are an extension arrived at from the 4 squares.
I'm aware that the Egyptians had 3 levels of understanding, each kept secret from the other. The people were told to worship the sun as a deity, the priests worshiped the energy of the sun as flowing upward from the realm of underworld, and the inner sanctum of masters knew the workings of the maths and looked to Isis or the Dog Star Sirius and her union with Osiris 'Lord of the Underworld'. Isis and osiris therefore gives us two set of maths linked to the movements of the heaven and the planets, which had to be unified. Sirius is a fixed motion star and our own solar system follows it as 'The Bow Star', and the great waters of the dark follow Precession.
Ken gives the Crown of Isis and this same design can be seen as a throne design, all the throne designs you have given so far except for Re have the same quartering of the square just as a pyramid being looked at from overhead.
I shall continue to give this attention - kindest regards - Paul.

Hi Paul ... We must always be careful never to assume things. You (and I) assumed a square ... but it appears they are not ... at least this first one I checked ... The yellow line is a sqaure ... the other is a rectangle ( measuring 307 x 294 pixels) unless my screen is out again ... Very odd ... Can someone else check it to see if the main body of the throne is indeed a square. cheers Don Barone

Post by PMacG on Aug 3, 2007 10:37:35 GMT -5
Hi Don. The difference between the sides is 13 pixels and that seems to much to be an error of screen, the division of 13 into 307 = 23.6 - some of the thrones are more square than others, or rectangles that face in opposite directions of height or width, but all are of similar design except Re.
The work of Ken Bakeman still fits together the 4th and 5th division of the square of earth, so onward we go - Paul.

Hi paul ...
Following up on the train of thought of Cruxis aka Brian Ettinger it is odd that 307 / 294
= 1.0442176870748299319727891156463
while 4th square root of two
= 1.0442737824274138403219664787399
identical to 0.0000561 ...
Very, very strange ...

Hi Don.
Yeah I saw the value 1.0442176 and the error if any is very slight indeed, as sqrt 2 = 1.14142 sqrt = 1.18920 = 1.09050 = 1044273. If you look at the way the sqrt's diminish they decrease as a binary progression 1/2, 1/4, 1/8. I find this of great interest myself and I saw this as the possible link I had been searching for.

Making headway ... slowly but surely. I guess I just need patience Hi all .. I have maintained for quite sometime that the thrones of the gods of Ancient Egypt were trying to tell us a mathematical story well I may have finally pushed the door open just a crack. Observe ... While working on our Solar System and the mathematics involved I started towards the solving of the thrones of the gods of Ancient Egypt by finding this. And before you dismiss this out of hand perhaps you would care to offer an alternative explanation for the shape of Isis' headdress? Cheers and have a GREAT day [ I know I am going to ] It is my belief (but I hope to prove it) that from this basic diagram ALL the other thrones and headdresses of ALL the gods will be solved. Perhaps we shall soon have an alternative explanation for the shape of the two crowns of Upper and Lower Egypt. cheers Don Barone

Hi Don,
Very interesting and looks good to me, parallel to it are the text about the Crowns. I think we have a long ways to go to understand the lighted Mind of the Pyramid Builders. How many times over the years have alterative theories been offered, and debunked with such words as, "you first have to understand how the Egyptians thought and lived", and then bring forward their same old tomb by trail and error and who was who, maybe.
I would agree with you that the "Priests" of the Ancients knew it all for only elightened people can build, write, and paint thus. I take my information from the Rosicrucians and Masons, infinately more enlightening than all of Egyptology in their endless guessing, interpreting and misinterpreting and at odds with each other.
Did you notice the board different this morning? Maybe an adjustment by proBoards due to the annoying "Congratulation! You have won...." I do so appreciate their not allowing such.

if we use inches we get the cubit ... In case you have forgotten. And I wrote on this many years ago ... 10) And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
11) And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.
12) And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
13)And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
14) And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
15) The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.
16) And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.
17) And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
18) And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
19) And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
20) And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
21) And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.
22) And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel. cheers Don Barone

Hi all a while ago on Ken's site he posted an interpretation of how he saw the Osiris legend as a metaphor for the squaring of the circle. I have taken it just a bit further and I hope you all enjoy. I have tried to find Ken but have been unsuccessful and so going on our earlier conversations I am going to post parts of his images as he allowed me to do this in the past. If anyone knows of any issues that would have changed since then please inform me and I will immediately take them off the internet. I must emphasize that the majority of these ideas which follow are Ken Bakeman's and I will make a note of when I have added a new idea or thought. In the beginning was the perfect King - Osiris ... But then tragically he was trapped inside a box. [ Like many of us are ] And then to make matters worse Osiris was cut into 14 pieces I have taken the liberty of cutting poor Osiris up in 14 pieces IN BOTH directions as shown below. And then Isis joins joins with Osiris as is shown by her crown. After this image you should note a very subtle change in The Throne of Osiris. and then Ken says Isis uses her magic to generate Horus but actually it really isn't magic at all. It is just straight lines. Here is how I think Isis did it ... In the image above Horus is 11 units by 11 units giving us a perimeter of 44 units ... Hmmm 1/10th of the base of The Great Pyramid. How odd and fortuitous is that ? The circumference of Osiris is (7 x 2 ) x's Pi = 43.982 and strangely multiplied by ten gives us 439.82 very nearly what The Great Pyramid measures ... 9069 / 20.618034 = 439.85 But then something magical really does happen and Isis stops suckling Horus and leaves him to find his own way and this is how it is done. ... this is neat And it yields this image ... And also gives us this ... and this But more importantly we now have both measurements of The Great pyramid in a 1:10 scale with 44 as a perimeter for Horus and 28 as a perimeter for his younger brother (or sister). Marvelous and many thanks go to Ken Bakeman but there is still more that Ken did not see. If we divide 44 by 28 we get 1.57142857... Now because a cubit also had 28 units (digits) in it the ratios are the same and if we go 44/28 + 2 we will get the force of gravity at Giza, or that is to say how far an object will fall in one second, which is 3.57142857 cubits. Yes it all works rather nicely indeed ! They did not know these things ? Nonsense !!! If you look you will see another crown for Isis which in the shape of the part of her which lies within Osiris Amen ... Regards Don Barone

You in a box, Don? That could have a double meaning.
Though I have read different interpretations on Osiris being cut into 14/28 pieces, your diagrams look good to me, I can add little.
The cube is the image of absolute solitidy.
Did Horus have a younger brother? There is Horus the Elder and Horus the younger.
Though this from a different perspective, it may help you to find the "other" Horus. Peter Dawkins writes:
"Within the overall Archetype of Light are various integral principles or ideas concerning the various aspects of divine Life. The principles begin with the idea of the wholeness or macrocosm of Light (Ra) which is both invigorating (Shu, the radiant life force) and enabling (Tefnut, the reflective life form). This basic trinity has a pattern or order, which is a divine law, that gives rise to spatial form and purpose. This seven-fold pattern is equated as follows:- the 'above' (Tefnut, 'heaven') and the 'below' (Geb, 'earth') the 'front' (Osiris, the giver of life, which is light) and the 'back' (Isis, the receiver and reflector of light), the 'right' (Set, heterogeneous emotions and will) and the 'left' (Nephthys, heterogeneous reason and thoughts). In the centre, uniting them all, is the heart or 'throne or glory' (Heru-ur, 'Horus the elder', also known as Herakhty, 'Horus of the Horizon', the solar principle of harmony and beauty).
"From all this is born (or generated), through the fusion of spirit with matter and the alchemical process of initiation that this fusing generates, the full manifestation of God as the fully developed and perfect human soul. The three stages of initiation required to reach this perfection, and which form an integral whole, are pictured as being the expression of (1) Tat (Thoth, perfect desire and love), (2) Maat perfect understanding or cosmic consciousness), and (3) Heru-pa-Khret (Horus the younger', or Harpocrates, the son of Ra,the true kingship obtained through perfect sacrifice or service)."
According to this, you would have described "Horus the younger" the babe Harpocrates who suckles his thumb, so when you ask for a brother, you may be looking for "Horus the elder". You notice Christianity in the two paragraphs.
Also from the alchemical view, I remember reading that Menkaure, whose birthname means "Eternal like the Souls of Re", another designation "Menkaure is divine", ruled for 28 years with "his sister-wife" (I think other King's as well). He had candles brought to him to "rule by day and night", (so ambitious was the King according to our Egyptologists), but in the Book of "Coming forth by Day", Budge writes on page 221
"RUBRIC 4: If this chapter be known [by the deceased] he shall be victorious both upon earth and in the underworld, and he shall perform every act of a living human (2) being. Now it is a great protection which [hath been given] by the god.
"This chapter was found in the city of Khemennu upon a block of iron in the south, which had been inlaid [with letters] (3) of real lapis-lazuli, under the feet of the god during the reign of His Majesty, the King of the North and the South, Men-kau-Ra (Mycerinus), triumphant, by the royal son Heru-ta-ta-f, triumphant; he found it (4) when he was journeying about to make an inspection of the temples. One Nekht (?) was with him who was diligent in making him to understand (?) it, and he brought it (5) to the king as a wonderful object when he saw that it was a thing of great mystery, which had never [before] been seen or looked upon."
"This chapter (6) shall be recited by a man who is ceremonially clean and pure, who hath not eaten the flesh of animals or fish, and who hath not had intercourse with women. And behold, thou shalt make a scarab of green stone (7) with a rim plated (?) with gold, which shall be placed in the heart of a man, and it shall perform for him the "opening of the mouth"." And thou shalt anoint it with anti unguent, and thou shalt recite over it [these] enchantments:—"
So here is the Egyptian version of the pure fool Parzifal accompanied by One who was diligent in making him understand; and the Holy Grail, "the thing of great mystery, which had never before been seen or looked upon".
Then there is this sentence:
"THE CHAPTER OF COMING FORTH BY DAY AND OF GAINING MASTERY OVER ENEMIES".
These would be the Krell, and then Nu asks in wonderful language to be granted that he may see Ra and that by the vigor of Ra he may come forth against his enemies and be victorious....
"Behold I have come forth on this day, and I have become a Khu (or a shining being)".
Egypt is the Land of Alkhemy, of coming forth by day, not as either Faulkner or Allen, I think, pardon me, I read a quote of something like by coming forth by day the AE meant when they got up in the morning and walked out of their houses. I kid not. And then there is Frank Dörnenburg, pardon me, who in his translations from German to English doesn't have or know the finer nuances of poetic, philosophical, or religious meaning of texts in both languages, and even one word changes the understanding and the mind is led to a different conclusion.
So, my friend Don, I hope this shows that I have not forgotten my Egyptian studies, only left behind, and am now engaged in and aspiring to become a "Partaker of God" by Theosis of the Orthodox Church to transform my spiritual faculties into Light, my mind operated by Divine Light to become completely resplendent and see my own mind's light plentifully. A Shining Being.

Hi Don,
Having repeated the first two lines numerous times.
The circle "Osiris the perfect King"
"The Ring in its repose is Unity and Being: Causation and Existence are the motion thereof. Thru'out all runneth Duty, and the conscience of it is thatt creative faculty of animal mind that, wakening to self-conscience of all Essences, closeth the full circle, where the spirit of man escaping from the bondage of physical Law re-entereth eternity by the vision of God."
The Divine Poet
in agreement of "Osiris, the perfect King", and
unqualified Harmony in all stated in "Partakers of God".
I'm sure you noticed also, that in Peter Dawkins evaluation the Heart is "The Throne of Glory".
Twice Cheers!

Once again getting close to overload. coming faster as usual than I can put it down. running in several directions and hoping I can get it all typed before it goes out to "sea" again. And always as we approach The Winter's Solstice ... eerie Sandal strap ? I find it quite hard to believe that many studied people actually believe this. Here are the consonants that make up the word ... The ankh ('key of life', 'the key of the Nile', 'crux ansata') was the Egyptian hieroglyphic character that read "eternal life", a trilateral sign for the consonants Egyptian gods are often portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms crossed over their chest. Not fortuitously I happen to be working with some semi orthodox Jewish people and discuss some of my thoughts with them. Imagine my utter disbelief when upon mentioning the study of The Ankh and the fact that it meant life that they happened to mention that in Hebrew "Life" was shown by The Chai symbol and imagine my continuing astonishment when it was pointed out that it was like a letter 'n' with a little something at the beginning. I was beyond amazed when I realized it was EXACTLY THE SAME as the first and middle consonant in The Ancient Egyptian word Ankh and THAT THEY BOTH MEANT LIFE !!!! Hebrew and Ancient Egypt sharing the exact same word for life ... truly an interesting turn of events and of course I immediately remembered The Moses Story and began to speculate ... But my astonishment was complete and they had to pick me off the ground when it was further pointed out to me that in "Gemetria" each Hebrew letter has a number and the total number for this symbol in Hebrew was... and I hope you enjoy this ... the number was 18 ! Digits in a cubit. degrees in 1/2 The Phi Angle in a pentagram and then the story was complete when it was explained that tradition dictates (they could not tell me why) gifts were always given in multiples of 18, so 36, 54, 72, 108, etc and there staring me in the face was yet another clear example of geometry being at the root of ancient beliefs and traditions. But then I found this picture and well ... you tell me what is going on ... this is a Gladiatorial Token from The Roman era ... Rome minting coins with The Hebrew symbol of life on them and also the most sacred of signs of The Ancient Egyptians ... And then a further realization that The Gods may not really be sitting on thrones ... but sitting on or guarding the way to ... ETERNAL LIFE ... I wonder if they teach that at Oriental Institute ... Good morning Don, Thou art in a hurry again, running in several directions hoping you can get it before the tide goes out, if it does it will come back in as the World turns and the Moon watching. As far as I know.... the Ankh was shown also as a loop (such as the one on cars "Support our Troops", same as the "AIDS" bow) as in the "hieroglyph cake and the Ankh-te". It is probably why in the BoD they eat much "white cake" to give life and come forth by day. The Hindus too have this loop. It also resembles the symbol of Venus, our sister planet. I learned that the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabeth a symbols of power. If the trilateral sign for the consonants n-h, the character that reads "eternal life" is as the Chai symbol of the Hebrew alphabet, consisting of the Yod (Y) and the Hai (H), it is, as you speculated, "Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians , and was mighty in word and in deed". Acts 7:22, King James Bible. Maybe you speculated otherwise. The Hebrew Alphabet www.jewfaq.org/alphabet.htmMaybe this one works, easy to find on the net anyway. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebrew_alphabet"The gods may not really be sitting on thrones ... but sitting on or guarding the way to ... ETERNAL LIFE ..." Sitting or standing, if you look at the "Last Judgement Papyrus", the diseased person must answer to 42 assessors by making negative confessions, i.e., "I have not committed sin have not stolen, robbed, committet violence or adultery, have not fouled the waters ect., and when no wickedness is found in him, he is declared he true of voice and conducted to Osiris by Horus. www.touregypt.net/negativeconfessions.htmThe "crux ansata", ansata meaning "having a handle" or "something in the form of a handle", is also known as the "Southern Cross". The "crux" of the matter we're engaged in concerning Universal Secrets en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_CrossAnd the "Northern Cross", closer to my time of study. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cygnus_(constellation)I don't know anything of the Gladitorial Token of the Romans, but it would make common sense that if a Gladiator was victorious in battling his enemies he attained to "Life Eternal", that is, when projected to 'above', his own enemies. As you say, there are many direction, one at a time is best until they synthesize themselves. Mysteries are 'revealed', not learned. And from the vth on it was simply a muddled myth filled way of remembering it ? Cheers Don Barone Hi Don, I never concerned myself with dynasties, that was and is the job of other people to sort out. I don't think the AE had Dynasties per se, I think it was Manetho who divided the long span of history to make for easier study. Though there were extenuating circumstances such as there are in governing any Civilization, Empire, Nation, Culture/Tradition, or family, the Egyptian Sages never muddled, look at what they built, painted and wrote, what is muddled are all the interpretations, to wit, either they are taken literally by the dead letter of the word, as said, getting up in the morning and walking out of your house means 'coming forth by Day', or all sorts of theories emerge and everyone is guessing. As far as I'm concerned, your surest bet is number and geometry of which I am ignorant but can appreciate, the former some, the latter greatly. Relatively speaking, the little I know, I see the AE wholly different. If you follow "the most learned Cililization on Earth" from the beginning you find a Grand Plan, part of which comes to mind is removing of images and hieroglyphs, adding, omitting, or changing temples, not because they hated their predecessors or were Megalmaniacs vying for the biggest tomb.... etc., etc., ecetera. It's all so stupid, pardon me. The old, silent local guards at the VoK, who don't want your money, don't even look at you unless you sit down beside them for an hour or so and say nothing, know more and have more common sense than.... How powerful was the core the AE and those before them planted? Look how many, and for thousands of years have been and are obsessed with trying to get 'into' their minds or 'wrap' their minds around a certain concept, or who was the mother, father, children, major and minor wifes etc., never looking at the names, what they mean, and accompanying text. Nevertheless, progress is being made toward that "wonderful object, a thing of great mystery, which had never before been seen or looked upon". Why would they write this and so many other similar things "everywhere?" "It is about transformation", said Fr Norman in Church this morning, minus thinking of the AE. I keep forgetting to ask: did you ever receive my Castle of New Schwanstein I purchased for you in München? Take it easy Charlotte
