Dear Charlotte and Others, regarding Rennes-Le-Chateau and some severe concern in relation with certain negative activities of the new mayor ( IF the stories are true ), i got no reply until today. unfortunately this is mostly the case, because many "officials" often avoid any contact with a foreign person, fearing that it is also a "crazy" fan of this mystic R-L-C subject, thus fearing a bombardment of stressing emails .... !! $$$$$$$$$ ---- MONA LISA: yes, i got these informations as well ! for Lotte, who is familiar with the german language some articles: www.geo.de/GEOlino/mensch/50327.html?t=img&p=1 -- www.tagesanzeiger.ch/dyn/news/vermischtes/670545.html--www.welt.de/appl/newsticker2/?channel=kul&module=dpa&id=12744978*********** "MONA LISA" is considered to be Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Francesco del Giocond – that's why she was called in FRANCE the «La Joconde» genannt . cause this portrait was made by Leonardo da Vinci between 1503 and 1506, some experts thinks, due to some hidden aspects of a pregnancy, and chronological data of the GIOCOND-family , that LISA is shown in the early status of her second pregnancy, or a short time after giving birth to her second child. finally she had five childs with her husband Franceso. the person who ordered this portrait, is not known. but it seemed, that "he" never reived this painting, cause Leonardo himself sold it to french king Francois-I, a short time before his (Leonardo !) death ! in this context a very informative article from the university of Leipzig at : www.uni-leipzig.de/~kuge/neu/zoellner/mona_lisa-deu.htm ---- *********** and for our english community the report on the OTTAWA press-conference in context with the new examinations : www.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca/newsroom/news/2006/monalisa06-nr_e.htmlwww.nrc-cnrc.gc.ca/highlights/2006/0610monalisa_e.html******** OK--so far for today ! best regards to all : Bernie ****************************************

Dear Charlotte, the articel from the university of Leipzig offers much details in context with the family of Francesco and Lisa Giocondo. in contrary to my first statement, that the person who ordered this painting by Leonardo da Vinci, is not known, other authors claim, that it may have been (logically) the hsband, Franceso de Gioncondo himself. ok, there is a quite good probability for this ! but one riddle remains: why was this painting not in possession of the family of GIOCONDO ? was the painting not made the way, Francesco and his wife Lisa wanted it, or could they pay the prize for it ? ( Leonardo was not "cheap" ! ). Or did Leonrado fall in love with this portrait of Lisa, a real outstanding beauty of her time, thus keeping the painting back as a private remember ... ? or other reasons, we do not know, and worth to mention, that Leonardo was of a complex genious but also very difficult character. anyway, the second child of Lisa, i mentioned it before, was the boy ANDREA ! Lisa wast the third wife of Francesco, and her first child was Pierro (1496) , but the second child died still as a baby in 1499 ! hence the second (surviving) child was ANDREA. it may have been a very lucky event for the Gioncondo's, enough reason and happiness to order a picture of the proud and very attractive young mother LISA ! --- best regards: Bernie

Hi All, I was just going to ask last night , what is Rennes le Chateau?,when i came across it in the book i'm reading "The Lost Secrets of the Sacred Arc". Otherwise, I don't know French and I would've been asking! Now at least, I kinda sorta know where I am...in 'context', anyhoo!

Thanks daz, for that. I like Gargoyles the best in France, and I got " Tarot de Paris", by J. Philip Thomas, a couple years ago.... I loved Paris.... I'm going to be focused on Peru for the long run though.
BB, Ghia
