I'm sure Don is ok. I can imagine, at times one needs a break from the net. Myself, so many questions (on other sites) It gets mentally overpowering. I guess Don will be back after a break from the net. He's chilling out.

Hi Guys yes I am fine. Just purchased a new old top of the line 8mm Sony video player on Ebay for about $311 Canadian including shipping and am busy recording my 350+ two hour tapes onto a special hard drive I bought to store them on. I am up to about 38 out of 350. Each one takes me at least 2 hours because it records in real time. When I am done I will transfer them into the correct format to view on this page. We Grew Up Barone Meanwhile I am trying to block out the insanity which is supposed to be our world and the ridiculousness of Iraq, Iran and The Ukraine and all the killings by the runaway lunatic cops in the usa. Maybe if I ignore it it will go away. Anyway thanks for worrying and remember I will always answer private messages And as a post script I have had very few if any new insights into Giza but as I tell myself when one discovers the entire solar system in the three pyramids at Giza what does one do for an encore ? And for a diversion I posted this at Wiki AhatmoseCheers Don

Well Don It seems your having more fun than me. I'm sitting on a pebble beach on the shores of Loch Ness, camera on tripod and being 'nibbled' from flying insects. I'm driving back south after a couple of more days. Having said that, while listening to a BBC radio programme in my camper van, It has been found (don't ask why, beyond me) that the GP has moved over the thousands of years by 3 miles. Do a search.
In the spirit of most explorers here at the Loch, I'm off to a local burgher bar, truly Scottish the name begins with Mc.

Thanks Don
With a lake/Loch 24 miles long one has to be in the right place at the right time. Big hope!! Long story short, It has been suggested that Nessie may be a creature of the night. There have been a number of reports of possible night sightings, one from 1934 where a unidentified creature crossed a road in front of a local motorist. A possible (night time) new divergence to the hunt.
Regards
Daz

Glad all is well, Don, Daz, pursuing your interests respectively. Insane as the World may be at the moment, I imagine summer at Loch Ness peaceful.
Had to upgrade my computer, and as when this board was upgraded, everything is more complicated, too many clicks to get to things. I like simple.
Cheers

That's exactly why I have recently given up using facebook. Too many clicks to do this and that and where do you click!. Same with photobucket, one time it was so strait forward, now with past software updates on the site one needs a science degree to upload. Rant over.

Hi Don,
Just looked at your impressive Wiki entry, saw it before, of course. I am glad it's "out there" for 'the Pyramids were tombs for Pharaoh's' crowd, and mostly, to give the general public a different view, at least something to think about.
One nice thing about my upgraded comp is that it shows incorrect spelling immediately.
A great weekend to you and yours, and Guests.

Daz Hi Daz, I find so many things utterly extraneous, before I could just click on my desktop to get "Word", now I have to navigate the globe to get there as well as other stuff. I would call it downgrading to confuse and take up our time. I was told that my fb account was hacked, so I'm waiting for a new pw, won't accept my own for some reason. The page I used to visit was very informative and personal exchange among us, now it's all politics. What I do like is the fight against Monsanto and similar posts. A great summer to you Charlotte

Don, looks like you gave your Birthday 9/11 on fb, I have a good idea why.
Nevertheless, since you're a space traveler in an intelligently designed Universe, I'll play a song for you

Looks and tastes delicious, Don, Thank you. Had a good day, washed my car, went to the Farmers Market, bought flowers and a pot, had a good conversation with my sister Irene, and traveled back and forward in time.

Hi Don,
I wrote: "A decade since your Mother passed, do you think about her often, as I do about my Mother almost daily, being only a half year --- this instant my computer shut down completely in a heartbeat. This is all I will say.
No power failure, never happened before - like this.

Hi Charlotte ... Yes I do. Sometimes even at 65 you need the guiding hand of a parent. Miss her dearly. Life goes on but for the time being no more insights at Giza or elsewhere on the planet ... I wonder ... are the tsunamis over for me ? Time will tell. Cheers Don

I wonder ... are the tsunamis over for me ? Time will tell. Cheers Don We have a song: Wenn Du noch eine Mutter hast Dann danke Gott und sei zufrieden... If you still have a Mother Then thank God and be content... As for Tsunamis, there is an ebb and a tide, purposefully regulated by natural law to keep balance, or as the AE thought, viz., one should rest and contemplate one's handiwork, which, in your case, would indicate a looong rest Maybe that's what's happening. Cheers Charlotte

Happened on this yesterday, Don, and since you know and love Phi, I thought you and maybe Readers like this poetic expression by Adolf Zeising, 1854 "[The Golden Ratio is a universal law] in which is contained the ground-principle of all formative striving for beauty and completeness in the realm of both nature and art, and which permeates, as a spiritual ideal, all structures, forms and proportion, whether cosmic or individual, organic or inorganic, acoustic or optical; which finds its fullest realization, however, in the human form."

Not so Don, you have to to spread your mine set and study the aspects of non discovered creatures in our seas and lakes. Back is getting better.

Hi Charlotte here is one from my "youth" It is still my favourite song of the war era ... sung by Eric Andersen, my favourite folk artist of The 60's. I have waited for years for it to be uploaded to the internet and finally someone has. I of course still have my original album.

Hi Don, I listened to the song on FB.
As we "grunt and sweat under the weary life", what we gain and what we ought to lose becomes more apparent when we get older, doesn't it? Love the wisdom of the Grateful Dead:
"Now I don't know, but I was told it's hard to run with the weight of gold; On the other hand I've heard it said, it's jus as hard with the weight of lead".
Especially now with "the sun so dark and the hour so late", is why I flee to Mt. Parnassus. It's just an escape mechanism from reality, people humor me. What reality?
Be well!
