Hello All, The mundane cross originated in the Americas as a symbol that represented the Creation. But more literally the native version was broader in context and contained many elements: a.} The dissatisfaction that God found in his creation b.} His determination to change it, c.} The story of God seeking advice from the native "sacred four" The full story is assembled from five sources. The first, and most definitive, is from the Popol Vuh (the sacred word of the Maya-Quiché). The second comes from the Troano Codex (the sacred words of the Yucatan Maya). The third and forth come from the Chinese and the ancient Egyptians. And the last source is the most unlikely of them all, Stephen Hawking. We'll start with Stephen Hawking, where in his 1988 book, "A Brief History of Time," Hawking begins by discussing, "Creation Myths of Turtle with the World on it's back." Next, let me direct you to one of my websites, where we discover that the Serpent (found in all Creation myths around the world) - has it's origin in the ancient Egyptian belief that the earth was formed deep within the planet Jupiter. Jupiter and the Eye of HorusNow let's go to Australia where a Chinese teapot was found that bore both the Serpent and a replica of the creation myth of turtle with the world on it's back," embodied in the design. From the Menzies 1421 website. Next we'll look at the Troano Codex (or Troano MS) where (in the colored image - beside the circle) we see two glyphs. The glyph on the right with the two intertwining (^'s) represents "aac," (turtle) and is the Maya symbol for world ... "aac," (turtle) will link "the world" with the mundane cross. . On the left inside the Troano Codex, we see a, "cross inside of a cross." This is an accommodated mundane cross. Here God, seated center, is discussing how to recreate the world with the "sacred four," who are seated at the four corners of the table. The dotted lines that join God with the "sacred four" tells us that they are not in agreement. Now we'll see what it all means as we quote from the Popol Vuh (the sacred word of the Maya-Quiché). The sacred four are the four powerful intelligences; the Creator, the Maker, the twice mother, and the twice father. jb) They are all sitting around a table in discussion (the four are the small circles in the glyph, far left, and are sitting around the cross that represents the table). At this point God had created the world but was dissatisfied. He had created "wooden people" who did not appreciate Him; and He had made small wild animals, deer, the birds, pumas, jaguars, serpents, snakes, vipers. The conversation goes like this: It is impossible for them (the wooden people) to say our names, the names of us, their Creators and Makers. This is not well," said the Forefathers to each other." .... "Let us try again!" .... "Then they said: What shall we do to perfect it, in order that our worshipers, our invokers, will be successful?" jb) The story in the Popol Vuh continues until it is finally decided: "We must work together and find the means so that man, whom we shall make, will nourish and sustain us, invoke and remember us. " And that ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls is the story of the mundane cross. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone, in this time of our Lord 2006 jb And what is the mundane cross but a native American Noah story! .

Hi James and All,
This board Sleepeth!
Sorry for my inattentiveness, I did read all along in between whatever . . .
Interesting post, I have "A Brief History of Time", read it long time ago and remember strongly disagreeging with on some points the gentlemen makes.
I also find it telling that so many scientific articles and lectures begin with a myth or legend, or quotes from old philosophers as a spring board to mostly imply: they believed this and the other at that time, but now we know . . .
not the half of what the ancients knew. And note, the speakers or writers summon, and get their traction from the ancients, yes?
I will re-read and tomorrow we can talk about some things.
Thanks
Charlotte

Could the "sacred four" also be the four elements, "True Air, Earth, Fire, Water", and wood=matter? Alternatively, the "the magical metal - Orichalcum", "an unnatural alloy of mercury, gold, silver, and copper", impossible to analyze (I informed myself about the usual explanation what Orichalcum is), when anallyzed "it usually ends with it dissolving into its component metals." So says "Uncle Ancient."
This, of course, brings us to Plato's Atlantis, where the Temple of Poseidon gleamed with Orichalcum, and there was a pillar of Orichalcum on which where "inscribed - the commands of Poseidon which the law had handed down." There "the kings gathered together every sixth year alternately, thus giving equal honor to the odd and the even number." All is number. Orichalcum is "now only a name", but in those days it was "something more than a name - more precious - than anything except gold." Orichalcum is the "unnatural" and "magical" metal of transformation.
This information, and that what is written in the "Popol Vuh" is more precious than anything we have today, save the air we breathe to live, because it is the evolution of successive races of mankind.
"Here God, seated center, is dicussing how to recreate the world with the "sacred four," who are seated at the four corners of the table." These are "the gods of the four directions", also the number four as number of analysis, and the four "true" elements.
God was dissatisfied with his creation of the "wodden people", the beginning of the human form and psyche/mortal soul, "how animals come about is another story), but before they were given spirit, that stage in pre-human history recorded by the "quickening."
The wooden people did not appreciate their "gods" because it was "impossible for them to say our names, the names of us, their Creators and Makers," the Elohim who sought to create matter.
"This is not well," said the Forefathers to each other." .... "Let us try again!" .... "Then they said: What shall we do to perfect it, in order that our worshipers, our invokers, will be successful?"
What shall we do to perfect the humanity, wordshipers and invokers, as it was then, before they "were fully formed and firmed", say the Hopi.
"We must work together and find the means so that man, whom we shall make, will nourish and sustain us, invoke and remember us."
Future man they "shall make", and the nourishing and sustaining means that each succeeding race has to give their "qualities" to the previous, more spiritual races, "good and bad", to sustain them, even as the human race today is "food" for the oncoming race while sustaining the spirit world just "above" humanity." Gurdjieff explains this in his "food octaves." It works both ways.
"And what is the mundane cross but a native American Noah story!"
Indeed, a new race was born in the Ark, our planet, after "the earth labored and was violently shaken. Three times Noah cried out to Enoch, three races had been destroyed, with the Hopi also, and the Forth began with the brilliant Ancient Egyptian Civilization, "the most learned nation on earth."
Hopefully more light will be shed on our origin with the analysis of NASA scientists of the "stardust" brought back recently. After all, say the Hopi, our beginning was in "endless space."

Hello Charlotte and all, Charlotte asks} Could the sacred four also be the four elements, "True Air, Earth, Fire, Water jb} Hmmm! Interesting - I don't know. Charlotte suggests} This, of course, brings us to Plato's Atlantis and the Temple of Poseidon jb} That is true! Poseidon (according to conventional wisdom) was the god of the waters, the brother of Zeus and he rode around on sea-horses. I have a copy of the Chumash Codex (the Chumash came to the Americas 13,000 years ago) where Poseidon is shown riding his sea-horse and surrounded by the Maya gods; flower, turtle, fish etc. Charlotte suggests} "And what is the mundane cross but a native American Noah story!" jb} And that is the most interesting thought of all, because it suggests that the original Noah story came form the Americas. Charlotte did not suggest: "And what is the mundane cross but a native American Noah story!" You, James, suggested this with the last line in your first post. Not that it matters. Another question I have never resolved to my own satisfaction is: when exactly was the so called "great flood?"
The Germans call this flood "Sintflut", a flood caused by the sin of "the wicked", so to speak. Also, "Sinnflut", a flooding of the senses, a flood of the 5 senses including feeling, des Sinnes=awareness as the 6th, having in mind or consciousness a fundamental idea. Understanding happens in "dem Sinne." The "appreciation" for music, of beauty and art, of humor, and the meaning of life itself is "in dem Sinne." A symbol is a "Sinnbild."
The term "Sintflut"and "Sinnflut" is important to the understanding of those who do not believe that the Ark of Noah was a giant ship, now "thought" to stick out partialy on Mt. Ararat. How big a vessel would it take to contain a pair of each animal living at the time, supplies etc.? And in any case, 8 went in the Ark and 9 came out must have another meaning.
"In the beginning" the "Word" caused the phenomenal universe, and everything we see in nature are "sound patterns", of the "power" of sound, as the Hebrew and Arabic alphabet, both beginning with aleph. A Jewish teacher explained this to us, and I discussed it with a lady teacher in Egypt. Everything that is earthy or "lowly", in speaking, the sound of the voice goes "down", everything that is of an intelligent and spiritual nature, the sound of the voice goes "up." Fern said that when the creative word was spoken it re'verb'arated through space, but sound is perishable so "the spirit of nature" stayed it, and if we look at quantum physics, does so to this day but in a transformational mode. I don't think anybody can dispute that the universe is in perpetual motion lest it collapse. We can make patters by putting sand on a drum, a sort of "vibraphone", by hitting it underneath, prove of sound as pattern-maker.
Back to the Maya, the mundane cross with 4 circles, and the 4 colors of corn.
The first people the gods created just made noise, these are "the mindless" of the philosophical tradition, before Sotuknang of the Hopi "gave them speach." They were wiped out by "fire", and if we consider the elements, better elemental spirits, and the Sinnflut we would have a fire of the world and individual psyche/mortal soul, the "Wanderer." The world soul and we as individuals "still" get fired up, see red and give somebody "a piece of our mind." I'm not saying that there were no natural volcanic catastrophes.
The second people of mud or clay, the earths alone, lacking the spiritual spark, in a sense the "defunct" of the AE, having to go trough all sorts of trails on the way to Osiris. Funke in German is a spark. These "wooden people" were distroyed by water in the flood mentioned above. But at all times there were "those who upheld the plan of the Creator", and those survived the destructions as "seed-lives" and populated the earth again.
The third people were the "corn-people." Maize has four colors signifying the races, and also, and also the Worlds, the fourth being "The World Complete" our time, complete only in the sense of our current development. There are three universes or ages yet to come for the Life. In talking about this, my friend in Egypt said that only a few people on earth have reached the 7th, each strand of their hair shines like silver, and they "don't want to come back" to the mundane life. These are, of course, the Ascetics living on "air" in the mountains, like the scarab lives on "air" in the tombs of Egypt. It hangs there motionless for months, wonder what it is "thinking."
James, I still don't understand that "the serpent - has its origin in the ancient Egyptian belief that the earth was formed deep within the planet Jupiter." I wish you would elaborate in simple terms and language. For me the serpents of Egypt have a whole different meaning.
As to the Chinese teapot found in Australia, the Turtle, as Paul (Mac) mentioned, represents fixed cosmic laws, and as far as I know, the serpent, yes, has astronomical significance, but also in earth geography, as well as serpents the "naga" of profound wisdom. "The first Knowledge Keeper who learned the wisdom of the serpent were called NACA MAYAS."
You know, the turtle in Aladdin, on which raises the "vanishing island" but never in the same place? The second Avatar of Vishnu is also a turtle, the races also being described in this Hindu conception. And what about
Be ye wise as serpents . . .?

IMO the archetype for the Noah story came from the Americas. The story crossed the Ocean blue with the Maya who entered the Dark Continent through modern Morocco, thence to the Dogon and onto Egypt. That resonates with me, America had supposedly sunk and rose again. The Maya say that once upon a time they were "transported" beyond what they saw, when the rivers and forests, deserts and mountains were not like they are today. The seas have erased all traces of what their ancestors left in the "faraway sacred lands." They wandered "through forests", across deserts and oceans and high mountains. By "divine instruction" they "went to deposit the sacred knowledge of HUNAB K'U", they deposited it on the high mountains of Himalayas, where they were received with respect. Together they "performed rituals to the trees, to water and all nature." They had a "common respect" for the sun, the moon and the cosmos. They understood all that surrounds them, "and the great potential powers residing in the human body." They used their "ability to develop these powers", and learned "to take the essence of the wind, water and fire." They named the elements and "consulted the laws of nature to name each of the things that existed." This language I understand. They named "Tibet" and "agreed that from these lands would emerge the initiates of the new age of spiritualism." TI--Place BE--Road T--Tree, Nature The people of the tall mountains called them NACA, which in time became NAGA, which means serpent. "Mayan words can be read backwards for alternative meanings. For example: NACA reversed yields ACAN. A--Personal Pronoun You CAN--Serpent, Teach, Learn, Energy, Undulation, Number 4. From "I Humbatz Men", who came to the PRS to lecture. A second movement of the Maya sailed around Africa through the Indian Ocean and into Mesopotamia where they were later known as the Akkadians, where the Gilgamesh epic was repeated from the Maya. From there they went north into Greece, India and across the Ocean blue to California. Where one contingent was known as the Chumash. The Hopi too wandered all over the earth and populated it, but at that time, their "Second World Tokpa", Tokpa meaning "Dark Midnight" and the metal was "silver." These people were so close in spirit they could see and talk to each other from the center on top of the head. Because this door was still open, they felt close to Sotuknang and they sang joyful praises to the Creator Taiowa." This was a time when human KIND was of a more etherial body and communication was telepathic. The Rosicrucian say that cummunication was by "a large protrusion much like the size and shape of a wallnut - composed of a soft mass of matter - in the center of the forehead - a result of the sustained development of a faculty of the human body that has gradually disappeared since Lemuria submerged and the races of its people were dispersed thoughout the world." It was not "precisely a 'third eye' , but constituted "an organ of sense that was equivalent to an eye, and an ear, and a nose, and any other faculty that we now possess for the receptian of impressions." (I think Gurdjieff calls this organ "Kundabuffer", and all this has to do with the pineal gland, now atrophied, but still bigger in the Australian Aborigines.) The "art of mental telepathy ot mental exchange of ideas and impressions at unlimited distances became perfectly natural, commonplace, and regular practice with the Lemurians. Their "average forehead must have been about six or seven inches in height." (I think they got it all wrong with Akhenaton and his family.) Later there was a cross communication between the Muslim Ottomans sailing west and the Maya sailing east into the Mediterranean. We find the Ottomans in the Popol Vul, and we find the Mediterranean Maya in the vocalization of the Greek letters, that repeat Plato's account of Atlantis. (see footnote) What little I wrote would agree with your view Greek ---------- Maya
Alpha ---------- heavily break {the} waters Beta ---------- extending {over the} plains Gamma -------- they {cover the} land Delta ---------- {in} low places where Epsilon --------- {there are} obstructions and whirlpools Zeta ---------- strike {the} earth Eta ------------ with water etc, etc, etc. Cool! Continue at once :) Charlotte to be continued james Footnote: From Augustus Le Plongeon, Queen Moo and the Egyptian Sphinx, Steinerbooks, N.Y., 1973, Library of Congress Catalog Number: 73-186768; originally published in 1895. . . BTW, Plato writes that "in this land, neither then nor at any time, does the water come down from above the fields, having always a tendency to come up from below; for which reason the tradition preserved here are the most ancient." So the "flood" is not by 40 days of water pouring from the clouds.

"They" got the Exodus all wrong too. To say that Moses held up his wand and parted the waters of the Red Sea until how many ? Children of Israel crossed, and lowered his wand, so to speak, to drown the persuing armies of Pharaoh, is but an allegorical rendering of humanities pilgrimage toward the "Promised Land." The Egyptians were "taskmasters", as they are today because they perpetually "whip" us on to discovering what it is they left behind. The Egyptians had completed their "plan", and they had an August plan, and Pharaoh's daughter, or her maidens, fetched Moses out of the waters, it does not say the Nile, and "he became her son." "And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water." "And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds." And this wisdom made the next generations, and now us mightier in words and deeds because we understand it better. All pertains to us. Who else? The Exodus is a "wandering" of humanity from one minor cycle to the next, and the old always "persues" the new. The Children of Israel complained about being in the "desert", they had never been their before, the unknown new era, and would rather go back into bondage in Egypt, because no matter how miserable we are in the old, it is known to us and we are comfortable. This is nothing new, on TV some time ago, I even heard a retired Catholic priest and a Rabbi expressing this view. Apparently both were tired of all the confusion caused by the misinterpretation of the Exodus. The Children of Israel are not a hand full of Jews, just like the "Aryans" are not a hand full of Germans, the whole current human race are both, generally speaking. We can parallel and understand that former Exodus by our own Exodus into a new consciousness, but like Moses, we will enter the "Promised Land" until we reach the 7th universe. But we are a step closer. The story of the Exodus requires a loooooong, seperate thread. So does the Baptism. Charlotte wrote} They named "Tibet" and "agreed that from these lands would emerge the initiates of the new age of spiritualism."

Moses and Pharaoh also spared with serpents, and the one of Moses eat up the one of Pharaoh, as the old wisdom is absorbed by the next people.

If we wouldn't dismiss as so much "new age" babble or coincidence, and so block what "comes to us" as if "out of the blue", we would realize that telepathic communication is happening all the time in our lives, but as the Hopi say, the door on top of the head is now closed. It is opening slowly again as we pay more attention to such things. Life is wonderfully mysterious, everywhere. Charlotte james .

Hi James,
Sorry for taking so long, and longer yet, to answer, because time is running out on me again. I love the Native American lore, it rings so true, and love to exchange ideas. The brother of telepathy is Prometheus, premonition or forethought, and we all steal fire from heaven now and then, displeasing Zeus who insists on the orderly unfolding of things. Taking heaven by storm backfires, I noticed.
How is it that sometimes we see and know what will happen the next day, and future? Some say the future aleady exists, other that the future is really the past.

Charlotte asked} What do you think about Easter Island? Let me answer it with a poem I wrote in year 2000. An Original Research Series, "The Finger Gods©" James Bowles October 9, 2000 1. . PROLOGUE The culture of the finger gods comes to us from the Pyramid Texts, from Psalms of the Old Testament, and Nasca, Peru. It's expression was simply an acknowledgment of the Belief that all of Creation was formed by the Fingers of the Creator God. Its manifestations around the world are as varied as the environments that dictate its expression. From Egypt the finger gods were illustrated as a Hand seated in profile on a pedestal called a plinth. In the Northern Territories the finger gods were carved on Totems, and on Easter Island they were carved from immense blocks of stone and placed on burial mounds, beaches and hillsides; 2 thus making the Totem, and the whole of Easter Island, one monument to a single Creator God. Perhaps the most imaginative expression comes to us from Peru, for here the finger gods are represented by the fingers on the Nascan image of Thoth, who is the embodiment of both the Creator god Atum, and the Ennead, the original Nine gods of On! Thoth's presence, thereby, awarding us the Tenth god in the Ennead. 3The Nascan image of Thoth displays Nine fingers that represent the Nine gods of On. 4 Atum, Shu, Tefenet, Geb, Nut, Osiris, Isis, Seth, and Nephthys The four fingers on the Right Hand represent the four female gods, Tefenet, Nut, Isis, and Nephthys. The five fingers on the left hand represent the five male gods; Atum, Shu, Geb, Seth, and Osiris. Part 6) The finger gods© In the beginning When I consider thy heavens The work of thy fingers The moon and the stars Which thou hast ordained 5I search for the reason The hopes to be found In the hieroglyphs of Saqqara And the Book of the Dead This untold story, I'd like said Of the Finger Gods, And the Ancient Creeds! Their culture circled the globe Gender specific, The fingers told Look-a-likes, that played Analogous roles We call them spirits and saints today These finger gods of yester'day Their wizardry foretold the rain Bred fertile the herds, And pasture grains They taunted evil spirits, with haunting refrains. From origins came, These giants of myth Casting creative magic, Legend and mirth. They were the fingers of the Creator These gregarious spirits By all accounts, And the ancient stories That'll take us to Giza, Easter Island and Alaska And finally, the lonely plateau above Nasca Hapy, Imsety, Duamutef and Kebhsenuf 6Are the affable spirits, many have said They are the Squatting gods, Of the Book of the Dead 7The finger gods, That pyramids bred So Praise, Raise your right hand The Creator in profile, There to show 8Only your thumb and Index finger'll know Now wiggle Four fingers, To cast your spells Flap your wings, For trees to grow. An Original Poem by James Bowles, author of "The Gods, Gemini, and the Great Pyramid." 2.) Despite the immense weight of the finger god busts of Easter Island, None of the hundreds of stone statues were put on any sort of lasting foundation. This fact has remained part of the Easter Island mystique. I would like to suggest, as pure speculation, that this was done because the underlying concept of a finger god entity, was that this form of a god was a temporary one. Only the Creator God lived forever, and this, in its subtle way, reflected this distinction. (See endnote "10" below, photo of Easter Island finger gods) 3a.) R. O. The one of significance here was the extension of the ecliptic to the borders of the Zodiac and thus represented a plane, that defined, above and below, all of Creation. 5.) Thanks for this James,
Seems we are coming ever closer to this One prehistoric civilization which we loosely call the Atlantians and Lemurians, and our origin before them.
Said the learned Mihis from Siwa:
"Life is a manifestation of consciousness, the 'winged seed' meteorites - ben - ben from the west hidden."
Easter Island is said to have sunk and risen again, and considering all waterstone has said about it requires a thread of its own.
Writing about the Hopi, I was looking at the monkey with the spiral tail again. This spiral and the labyrinth "emergence" spiral the world over is also worth a thread.
Your speculation on "raise your right hand and swear", and "so help me god" is a good one, methinks.
I also like your age of the Sphinx of 30 to 36,000 years. The Pyramid Champ told me that the Giza Pyramids " maybe 30, 35, or more" years old, but not the others, they were built later, contradicting the chronology of Egyptology. One has to be circumspect with the "textual evidence" of the Egyptians, as their prists were two-legged dragons, spoke with a forked tongue, and their cobra spit fire at anyone wanting to enter the temple.
Oh, us children of Atum, or autumn of another race.

Hi Charlotte - I think it is just you and me!
james} I wish I knew who the Maya ancestors were. IMO the Egyptians were Maya, tho' I can't claim the idea as I got it from Augustus Le Plongeon. I just agree with him.
IMO the Exodus was out of the Yucatan - and not out of Egypt.
Were the Israelites Maya? Sure seems that way to me.
On another matter I received an interesting e-Mail letter from the Gavin Menzies 1421, group asking me about my opinion re., the Chinese in N. America, at the moment I am putting together a reply.
I had written them first with a brief sketch - and they were interested.
James .

Hi James,
I'm sure this board is too slow and mostly uninteresting for people, at best 5 posts a day.
About the ancestors of first the Maya, I think they are the descendants of the most ancient people who survived the 3 destructions of the world, as they, like the Hopi, have recorded these for us, as well as the stages of man's physical and psychological developement. We are talking about immense time spans.
In your opinion the Exodus was out of Yucatan, not Egypt. It was an Exodus "out of affliction", and has nothing to do with how many million of "children of Israel" crossing a body of water called the Red Sea whilst Moses held the waters at bay. Moses represents a new consciousness of humanity wandering toward "The Promised Land" which he only saw but never reached, neither will we in our time. Not a shred of evidence has been found of this Exodus. I have said many times that all humanity are the children of Israel. The Hopi have "choosen people" who survived the distructions on our planet. Said one of my teachers: "Everything below the belt is Egypt, and everything above the belt is Israel." In the big picture this is something to think about concerning the Exodus out of affliction.
Fern also told me that "The Lost Tribes of Israel" are scattered over America, but as she put it: it's all too big for our dumb little brains to grasp. As I see it, we have 3 more worlds to go before we can know and hold in our waking consciousness our origins, purpose, and destiny, be it - no thought - no words, and this day of Brahma will end. All will sleep and assimilate billions of years of experiences, leading to a qualitative understanding impelling All to awaken to a new day on the next higher plane. Can anyone imagin?
I also think that the world was populated from the Americas, not Africa. The Rosicrucians maintain that California is a remnant of Lemuria and have much to say about the upheavels of the times, and the "Native Americans."

Hello Charlotte
You wrote} I also think that the world was populated from the Americas, not Africa.
james} That resonates with me. I think you're right.
You wrote} The Rosicrucians maintain that California is a remnant of Lemuria and have much to say about the upheavels of the times, and the "Native Americans."
james} Hmm! That's a stretch - as I'm not all sure what Lemuria is - or where. John MacMillan Brown mentions it in his book, The Riddle of the Pacific, but it wasn't anywhere near California, it was far to the south.
But than - who knows?

California is but one remnant of Lemuria, which by an upheavel was joined to the mainland again. It alone moves northward, not the whole of America. The catastrophy of "Atlantis" was planetary, so Lemuria is west and Atlantis is east. It's a long story, and I have this huge picture in my mind formed by some such writers, past and present, from all four corners of the world. You know that every sentence we put down comes via a thousand avenues. This what I say about Lemuria comes from "the first researches into the history of the lost continents of Lemuria and Atlantis" made by Sir Francis Bacon, who has my complete trust, and the Rosicrucians I quote with confidence. After all, they are the Keepers and Guardians of world history and destiny. About California joining the mainland, I will write in due time, when I have time, about "Dr. Dolittle" with Rex Harrison, where in the end an island floats toward the mainland, that of Shakespeare the 13th, a tall, stately and highly educated man in saffron robes. That man is Francis Bacon, founder of America, the New Atlantis, who left us a "National Treasure" invisible on the back of the Declaration of Indipendence, invisible also to the clueless commentators. Tagline: The greatest adventure history has ever revealed. And there are rumors of a sequel at the end of this year. Things are speeding up Every now and then such a movie for "children" is released. Hope everyone has a warm and sunny weekend Charlotte

The Maya,
James wrote: "I'm not at all sure what Lemuria is, or where . . .", and that one Mr. Braun says that it isn't anywhere near California, but was far to the south. I asked who the remote ancestors of the Maya were, and James said he wished he knew. They were this highly advanced civilization everybody is in search of, some contending they were "technologically" advanced, had silver aircrafts, helicopters, other UFO's and the like silly things, and that Ezekiel misunderstood everything he saw. I mean, it is they who lack advancement.
As I wrote before the Maya, in ancient times, were "transported" beyond what they could see. This applies to above and below. They wandered from the Americas to Tibet and met the Lamas. They had a common knowledge of the cosmos. They "understood the great potential powers residing in the human body", decided to use this ability and developed these powers, and learned how "to take the essence of the wind, water and fire", outside and also present in the human body. They "consulted the laws of nature to name each of the things that existed." They agreed to coin the names "Tibet" and "Lama."
To do this they must have been "transported" to remote times, when Adam named all the animals before Eve was born, the mother, eons ago, of the current humanity.
Rather than reading Mr. Braun's and a 1000 other "wordly" scholars stuff, I again cunsult the Rosicrucians.
First, "The reader should keep in mind that it does not take a very great cataclysm to make many important changes in regard to continents and islands. Only recently it was determined by deep-sea-soundings and undersea explorations that if the entire land surface of the earth should be caused to rise above four thousand feet, or a little less than a mile, every continent on the face of the earth would be connected by land above water."
If the next cataclysm "should be in the nature of explosions a mighty change in the world would result from this! And, it may be said in passing, a cataclysm that would rise or lower the surface of continents ot lands only four or five thousand feet would be a small cataclysm, indeed, compared to those that have taken place in the past."
The RC aloow millions of years for the development of the Lemurian and Atlantian civilization. But the cataclysm of 15,000 years ago which sank the "western part" of Atlantis, "and at the same time the the great valley just north of Mexico, and through which the great river known as the Mississippi flowed, submerged, destroying almost all of the civilization centered in that part of North America. (The Hopi concur) Those people were known under the general name of Mayas, which was the general term given to all of the Lemurians and some of the Atlantians who had entered that valley and built temples and large cities. The result of this submerging of land formed the present day Gulf of Mexico. The peninsula of Florida did not exist at this time, but a few mountain peaks rose where the peninsula of Florida now is and the island of Cuba, (hence some "find" Atlantis off of Cuba) Puerto Rico, and the other islands of the West Indies group were left as remnants of the sinking land. The newly formed mountains of North America that reached down to South America prevented North and South America from becoming seperated and formed the present Isthmus, while that part of the old valley that was highest, because of its great mountains, became the present land of Yucatan, and the rising land that forced the inland sea to disappear became part of the states of Texas, Arizona, and surrounding territory."
One has to follow and picture this geography in mind. In part, then, the RC agree with you, James, that the "Exodus" was out of Yucatan, the Exodus out of Egypt, as I said, is the Exodus out of our "affliction" from time to time, our lower nature being a taskmaster. So Yucatan is the place, and the Maya and Hopi are descendants of the Lemurians.
Where and what is Lemuria
"It may be interesting to note in passing that the name Lemuria as a name for the lost continent was arbitrarily adopted by scientists many years ago because of their knowledge regarding the existence of the Lemuroidea in the islands of the Pacific and the lands surrounding the Pacific and because it was believed that this class of creatures belonging to the primates had its origin and habitation on the continent that is now beneath the waters of the Pacific. The continent, however, is referred to in ancient writings as the motherland of Mu." And Queen Moo.
Plato
"A mighty power made an expedition against the whole of Europe and Asia. This power came forth out of the Atlantic Ocean. In those days the Atlantic was still navigable", then it became swampy. As I said before, the Atlantic is still navigable so it must have another meaning. Every continent rising out of the ocean is first swamp land. For short.
"When Atlantis sank", according to the RC, "the great hole left in the ocean was immediately filled with an inrush of ocean water which like wise changed the shoreline of North America, allowing islands to be formed and some lands to be sliced off, such as part of New York State being cut off and droped into the ocean forming the present Hudson River and the island of Manhattan, and that which is known as Long Island."
It takes having the entire globe in mind to go between Atlantis in the east and Mu in the west, and how the great upheaval effected both of the continents. It's a small world when it comes to catastrophes of such magnitude.
A good weekend to all.

Happy Birthday James What little I have written about Lemuria according to the Rosicrucians comes by way of research of Sir Francis Bacon into the "births and abortions" in our long history. Exerpts from NEW ATLANTIS We sailed from Peru (where we had continued by space of one whole year) for China and Japan, by the South Sea, taking with us victuals for twelve month; and had good winds from the east, though soft and weak, for five month' space and more. "You shall understand (that which perhaps you will scarce think credible) that about three thousand years ago, or somewhat more, the navigation of the world (especially for remote voyages) was greater at this day. Do not think with yourselves that I know not how much it is increased with you, within these six-score years; I know it well, and yet I say, greater then than, (than? typo) whether it was the example of the Ark, that saved the remnants of men from the universal Deluge, gave men confidence to adventure upon the waters, or what it was; but such is the truth. The Poenicians, and especially the Tyriens, had great fleets; so had the Carthaginians their colony, which is yet further west. Toward the east the shipping of Egypt, and of Palestine, was likewise great. China also, and the Great Atlantis (that you call America), which have now but junks and canoes, abounded then in tall ships. This island (as appeareth by faithful registers of those times) had fifteen hundred strong ships, of great content. Of all this there is with you sparing memory, or none; but we have large knowledge thereof." Francis Bacon indicates that we should not think to ourselves that he does not know how our knowledge has, or would increase since his time. And, this "voyage" from Peru, the navel of the world, had "shipping to Egypt, Palestine, China, and that we call America." "At the same time, and an age after or more, the inhabitants of the Great Atlantis did flourish. For though the narration and description which is made by a great man with you, that the descendants of Neptune planted there, and of the magnificent temple, palace, city, and hill; and the manifold streams of goodly navigable rivers (which as so many chains environed the same site and temple); and the several degrees od ascent, whereby men did climb up the same, as if it had been a scala coeli, be all poetical and fabulous; yet so much is true, that the said country of Atlantis, as well as Peru, then called Coya, as that of Mexico, then named Tyrambel, were mighty and proud kingdoms, in arms, shipping, and riches: so mighty as at one time (or at least within the space of ten years), they both made two great expeditions; they of Tyrambel through the Atlantic to the Mediterranean Sea; and they of Coya, though the South Sea upon on this our island; and for the former of these, which was into Europe, the same author amongst you (as it seemeth) had some relation from the Egyptian priest, whom he citeth." The great man and author is of course Plato, but look what Sir Francis Bacon is saying: the "shipping" and expeditions were made from Peru and Mexico. And all he is saying between the lines. Don't mean to be presumtuous, but can this be a birthday present for you, James? And a little more love from Wilbur for those who know Wilbur as the greatest hog in history Charlotte
